I found out today that the day one update is four GB. Just get your hard drive now if you're planning on buying the standard version.
I'm still really excited to get one. It's the Gamepad and the ability to play the game even with the TV off is what convinced me to buy one. And the MiiVerse sounds like a great idea if it does't have too many errors. Though I might wait to when the price drops and maybe by then they would have made improvements on it with upgrades.
It doesn't say "Suicide Pokemon". It said two messages said "Pokemon" and "Suicide".
I really want to get a Wii U sometime, especially with all the new features like Miiverse and the ability to play with the TV off. However, I think I'm going to wait for the price to drop and for more games that interest me to release because so far, the only games that are out right now that interest me are Scribblenauts Unlimited and maybe NSMB U.
CLAMIMED: Loves to eat!
Pokémon Suicide, together, sounds like a creepy pasta.
I hope Nintendo removes the debug menu. I think it's just a leftover that Nintendo forgot to remove when the Wii U was being sent out.
Why are you looking here? There is nothing here.
ZombiU Review Roundup | My Nintendo News
For a Wii U-exclusive/original IP from Ubisoft, ZombiU isn't getting a lot of a positive reviews. I hope this doesn't discourage companies from making their own original IPs.
I should buy that hard drive! I think I'll just buy like a 40 dollar 300 gig external and be done with it. :/
EDIT: I guess I should give my thoughts: I was stuck with a basic model because of a pre-order mix-up, but I've had a lot of fun, although I think giving free games to people who payed an extra 50 dollars and were really lucky is silly. NintendoLand is REALLY fun and the graphic style looks great. I've already beaten Scribblenauts Unlimited and am excited for the online, and I haven't played much NSMBU. My miiverse name thing is jestermanx, so, um, yeah.
u want the d
Regardless, the video game industry is very risk averse and new IPs are coming primarily from indie developers. The reason why ZombiU (essentially a pseudo new IP) was made is because publishers like to take advantage of console launch windows. Nearly every AAA new IP, including those on the Wii U, will fit at least one of these categories:
1. Released early in a console's lifespan (Pikmin)
2. Guaranteed to sell (Just Dance)
3. Follows industry trends (Watch Dogs)
I've actually read good things about Zombi-U.
It's got its fair share of problems, but a lot of impressions point to it being a fun, probably future cult-favorite horror-survival game.
But that's the point, I've heard that it's not like the new Resident Evils...it's closer to the older ones, less shooter, more horror.
That's just from what I've read, though, I have yet to play it.
