Thread: internet problem... [please respond someone this is really important]

ummmmmmmmm....... (I'm using Google Chrome) whenever I'm on the internet (especially on google or any other search engine)whenever I click on a link, it sends me off to a random site, and just a minute ago, it almost started a computer scan that made my go on the fringe of crashing so it's... kinda important.

also i cannot go on any other internet app besides GC; Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox don't work, it says it can't find the specified folder, path, etc.

you may have a virus..do a scan

Yeah, try running Malwarebytes in Safe mode. If you can, also try deleting suspicious folders in your profile directory, and enable hidden folders.

Also, I know it's a virus, as they deny access to those files, so you get "System cannot find the path"
