Post I Need Help Hacking.... No, Not a Website!

You see, a year ago my parents downloaded AT&T Parental Controls. However, they soon forgot about it, and it just suddenly stopped doing anything. Now, however, it's blocking my webhost, Task Manager, and it won't let me search anything/much! Anyone know of a way I could... hack it?

I don't think we are allowed to tell you how to breach parental controls.

However, can't you just tell your parents to disable it?

If not, then just un-install the program from the programs thing in the control panel if it is a program, with an adults permission of course, as those not familiar with computers may not properly delete it.

So I recommend asking your parents or any adult around the house.

They ASKED me to get rid of it; otherwise I wouldn't ask -_-; They don't know how to disable it because they forgot their passwords.

And let me rephrase that... can you help me get rid of Parental Controls? Because I've been hacking it to get to YouTube and such for a long time, but my parents are sick of having everything blocked. And it's making the computer lag, too.

I'd ask them if they didn't ask me. And I said I'd Google it and/or post a thread about it.

Before you try to get rid of Parental Controls, here are some questions you should answer:

1: Do you use an Administrator account? Administrator accounts allow the user to make changes to the computer, like, in your case, removing Parental Controls.

2: Did you parents download it from the official AT&T website? If it isn't, it may be a malicious fake.

3: Have you considered the Geek Squad at Best Buy stores? Geek Squad is a group of people at Best Buy who fix computer problems, and ight be able to help you

4: What does the error message say when it blocks you from Youtube, Task Manager, webhost, etc.?

    1. Look in add remove programs.
    2. If you can't remove it there, try manually deleting it from your pc.

I think Parental Controls are also going to lock down the Add/Remove Programs...

...but if your parents do have an administrator account, then they should be able to log you into that and have you remove it.
The word "quadragonal" is the only word with "dragon" in it where "dragon" is not a root word. That makes it awesome.

if it's the parental controls built into windows, the only way is to log on with an admin account and disable them. if your parents don't remember their passwords, you can blank them out with this utility burned onto a bootable cd:

    http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/

once you can get in as your parents, you can disable the windows parental controls. there are no other ways than an admin account, sorry.

    Geek Squad?

    no...

Run your computer in safemode and uninstall it from there.

You can also reinstall windows if you wanted to.
