Thread: DS Lite Dead/Stuck Pixels?

I'm pretty sure that these are frozen/stuck pixels, but I just wanted to make sure.

Are there any ways of fixing it? The warranty already expired. Should I just get a new DS?
EDIT: Thanks for your help guys, I just ordered a screen with a screw driver. This can be locked now.

How can I replace that? The warranty is expired so I can't send it to Nintendo.

if it bothers you alot, then get a new ds, but still like a poor like me, i would still go for it..

I was planning on getting a 3DS sometime. I guess I'll try to replace the screen, but other suggestions would be helpful before I do.

Buy a new screen, disassemble, and replace. Look at an ifixit tut for an howto.

get the 3DS, it`s the easiest way out, plus your games will look sexy if you get 3D games

I'm going to try to replace the screen and I will eventually get the 3DS. I will get it sooner if I majorly screw up on replacing the scree.

Sadly, they either:

a. Look streched
b. If you hold Start+select, they will appear in a box, like GBA games on a DS.

Nintendo would replace the touch screen last time I checked, so they'd probably fix this too. However, it cost $80.

If you can, get someone who works with computers to fix it. Nintendo things are well built but hard to fix yourself unless you're very good with machines.

I'm not sending it to Nintendo. My grandfather replaced the battery in my Blue, so he could probably replace the screen.
