I was referring to Kaito seeing Astral during the party for the WDC finals. I thought that it was confirmed earlier that he could see him, although it could have been just only willing to acknowledge Astral's presence while ignoring Yuma. Haruto could always see him, but that could have also been from having Barian powers. Although, I think that it's more likely that there's a connection between the two beyond the powers that hasn't been explained yet. As for Kotori, she was actually put in an active role with finding Yuma and getting Kaito and Shark to team up with her, so even though she still cried out his name, I do give her credit for being more active and for being the only one out of Yuma's friends actually willing to go back to a tower falling to pieces in order to save him.

As for Kazuma, I imagine that they'll search for him at some point during the second season. That does remind me how I think that Yuma is wasting his wish on dueling Kaito. He knows what happened to his father at least, although his mother has been basically forgotten at this point, but just knowing what happened to him isn't going help Yuma find him. Besides that, using his wish for something he could just ask Kaito for seems like a waste to me.

That's what they were saying about the duel carnival. Yeah that's a waste. Kaito was only acknowledging Astral like others did after. I wonder about Heartland though. Is he alive because he was on the Zexal II character list yet we haven't heard anything about him. I also wonder if they have all the numbers now or if they got scattered again.

I also just thought Kaito-sama was acknowledging Astral was there, like Kotori did. Also, yeah... what a waste of a wish, using it to duel Kaito-sama like that. I mean, he could've used it for something not as easy to obtain.

Wait, Yuma seriously just wished to duel Kaito!? ....Wow, Yuma. Just wow. Anyway, I have a feeling Mr. Heartland isn't completely gone. I don't know why, but I just see him somehow coming back. Or, at least really hoping anyway.

I don't think that Yuma using his wish to duel Kaito wouldn't bother me as much if his parents at least came up at the end of the previous episode. It just makes me think that he's totally forgotten about why he wanted to meet Dr. Faker and how he wanted to find his parents. To be fair though, that could have been brought up before the duel started since I couldn't understand much of what had been said, but it still seems like a huge waste of his wish, especially when I think that Kaito would have agreed to a duel with Yuma if only to face Astral again. As for Mr. Heartland, I'm sure that he'll be back. I could see him being the villain or a supporting villain for the next season. Personally, I wouldn't mind if he just disappeared. It's not like he really did anything aside from looking a bit creepier than Dr. Faker and that annoying Heart Burning catchphrase, so I don't think anything of value would be lost if he just never returned.

Honestly, I still don't care about Dr. Faker myself and all the attempts to make him look like a caring father and regret his actions scream "too little, too late" to me. Not to mention it doesn't feel believable that he wouldn't even hint about his reason when he sacrificed Byron and Kazuma. With Tron, it felt at least a bit more believable considering that the only reason his sons were following him was in the hopes that he would return to the loving father he had been before Dr. Faker used him. Dr. Faker had been barely present and I still can't think of a time where he was on-screen with Kaito before the duel against him. I don't know if Mr. Heartland could be made into a good guy. He could be the Bakura/Darkness of the series with becoming the final main villain of the series out of nowhere. That would almost make sense given how little he's done in the first season.

As for mothers, they're pretty absent in the other Yu-Gi-Oh! series too. I can't really think of a mother of one of the main characters in the previous series that appeared for more than one or two episodes, so it isn't just with Zexal. The concentration on the fathers might be more of a cultural thing since they tend to get more attention in the other series than mothers do too, such as with Yusei's father in 5D's, and they tend to focus on the father-son relationship in most of those cases anyway.

Also , I like to know which card Yuma got from the ''Legendary Deck'' he receive from Roku ?
After all,
It was called Legendary deck so there must something else beside Number in that Deck which made it Legendary .

He's the protagonist father.
I bet , Faker will do everything in his power to get him back since he's the one who's responsible for this.

It is possible that Kazuma knew Faker's intention from the start.
After all , He did said that a great destiny will awaken though Yuma's dueling.
Off course , I wouldn't surprise if He get Brainwash by Barrian world and appear as a antagonist.

I get the feeling Mirai(I think that's her name) won't show up again since no one ever brings her up to be important enough.

I don't think that Yuma has used those cards to summon Sorcerer of Dark Magic and I don't think he's used that card before either. As for the Legendary deck, we probably won't find out what was in the cards since that was just an excuse to show how Yuma got some new cards before the tournament. As far as I know, there wasn't a Number card in the deck to make it legendary. Yuma only got that Crimson Shadow Number card from dueling the then-former student. They didn't bother to explain why the deck was legendary then, so I wouldn't expect them to do that now, especially when there are other more important details/events than the Legendary deck that haven't been explained yet.

I don't know if Kazuma saying that Yuma has a great destiny through dueling means that he knew of Dr. Faker's intentions before. It's possible, but I think it's more likely that he saw visions of the future with Yuma dueling when he got the Emperor's Key and knew that he would have to do something involving dueling. He wouldn't necessarily know everything. Kazuma becoming a villain might be possible, although his sudden and random appearance near the end of Yuma's duel against III makes me think it's unlikely, especially when he wasn't affected by the Barian world like Tron was. Shark, Kaito and Kotori suffering from some effect of being exposed to Barian powers sounds more interesting to me. For some reason, I was thinking of how it could mutate them, but it's probably more likely that it makes them easier for Barian or people from that world to control them.

My guess is that the writers totally forgot about her. They don't really put much of a focus on mothers, even if they're brought up before, and this series already has a focus on father figures, so they'll probably either ignore her completely or recton her out by saying that she died off-screen after Kazuma was sacrificed.

Wasn't there something like, when Yuma saw that door thingy that he would lose his most important thing? What if that was his mother? Unless it was already specified it was something else. I just find it a little hard to believe that nothing would ever come up with her.

Personally, I just feel like she died after Kazuma disappeared. And the lack of mention in regards to her is to avoid bringing up death, maybe.

I always thought it was his key because he always holds it.

I kinda thought that a little as well, but I don't see how it would make sense since he still has it... It seems like it would actually have to be gone. I dunno though.

I can't remember either. I thought it was somehow a premonition thing, like maybe it happened before his mother was gone, and then, ya know, she just kinda vanished one day because of that. If that even makes sense. Although I could see the Astral thing...
