[21/02/2013 22:19:25] Human: Yeah.
[21/02/2013 22:20:04] Human: By the way, do you think that it's part of Rei's act to not mention how he hurt Alit to Yuma, or just the writers forgot?
[21/02/2013 22:20:36] Human: Rei did tell Yuma to keep quiet.
[21/02/2013 22:23:03] Mewily: It probably is a part of Rei's act to avoid the accusation that he hurt Alit. It might come up later on, although I think it might have been Vector instead given their similar designs. He's obviously a villain though.
[21/02/2013 22:24:14] Human: Rei didn't admit to hurting Alit, but again, it could be part of the act.
[21/02/2013 22:24:34] Human: I think he would have said something by now if it wasn't really him.
[21/02/2013 22:25:32 | Edited 22:26:43] Human: I could see them making the attacker Vector in the end. With them looking like twins, it wouldn't surprise me if he made him take the blame, although I can't think of a reason why he'd ever do that.
[21/02/2013 22:26:57] Mewily: He didn't even acknowledge it if I recall correctly. He's just trying to pretend to be a Barian Guardian in order to gain Yuma's trust even more, especially when he keeps throwing his authority around whenever Yuma asks questions. After reading the newest previews, I think that all of the Barians, except Vector and Rei, are the good guys and Yuma has unknowingly been helping the true villains this whole time, including Astral since they've been hinting not so subtly that he'll become evil.
[21/02/2013 22:27:18] Human: Barian Guardian...
[21/02/2013 22:27:39] Human: I don't get why it had a "V" instead of a "B".
[21/02/2013 22:27:52] Human: The bar had BARian.
[21/02/2013 22:27:57] Human: It's just so confusing.
[21/02/2013 22:28:24] Human: Yeah, I could see that being it.
[21/02/2013 22:28:46] Mewily: I've heard that V and B sound alike in Japanese. I'm not sure which one is the correct spelling, especially when the dub calls the world Barian. I'm not sure if it's one of those L and R situations like how Rua/Ruka is the same as Lua/Luca.
[21/02/2013 22:29:12] Human: Yeah, but I was hoping they'd stay consistent with it.
[21/02/2013 22:29:39] Human: If they picked B, they should stick with it instead of confusing viewers switching the letters.
[21/02/2013 22:30:07] Mewily: That would have been nice to avoid confusion.
[21/02/2013 22:31:20] Human: Astral turning evil... I'm interested in what Dark Mist could be doing now that he's been released.
[21/02/2013 22:32:16] Mewily: I'm curious to see if they'll actually keep Astral evil or restore him back to how he was with Yuma at some point.
[21/02/2013 22:33:04] Human: I'd like to see Yuma being filled with evil thoughts when Astral becomes evil.
[21/02/2013 22:33:37] Human: That would make Yuma darker, and less happy go lucky. Maybe you'd find him less annoying that way.
[21/02/2013 22:34:24] Human: Maybe if Yuma became evil and went to being good again, he'd mature enough to not act like a child most of the time.
[21/02/2013 22:34:30] Human: Like Judai.
[21/02/2013 22:35:29] Mewily: I don't know if Yuma turning evil would work out that well. At least with Astral, they've foreshadowed it and they probably would want to keep Yuma being all happy go lucky to bring Astral back. I don't know if that would even improve my opinion on Yuma. Judai becoming evil for awhile worked because I already found him likable and he actually deserved to deal with some consequence for his actions after ditching his friends in favor of looking for Johan. I don't think that would work out the same with Yuma, especially when I couldn't care less about him or the vast majority of the Zexal cast for that matter.
[21/02/2013 22:36:26] Mewily: It might help him to mature more, but I doubt that it would work nearly as well without having the foundation to make the conflcit work.
[21/02/2013 22:36:40] Human: The foundation could be built.
[21/02/2013 22:37:13] Human: Maybe Yuma would think of saving Astral so much, that he ignores Shark, Kaito, Rio and the others and becomes evil.
[21/02/2013 22:37:20] Human: It's too similar to what happened with Judai.
[21/02/2013 22:37:29] Human: So I'd like something more original.
[21/02/2013 22:38:03] Human: A Barian World arc where they're in it could work well.
[21/02/2013 22:39:00] Mewily: I think it would be too late to make that foundation work. With the GX cast, they had more fleshed out personalities and were generally more likable than anyone in Zexal has for me, so just putting Yuma in the same position as Judai wouldn't work as well without me caring about them well before he becomes evil. Besides that, it would just feel cheap for him to go through the same conflict.
[21/02/2013 22:39:29] Human: I'd like to see more of the Barian World, its society and workings, like the Dark World in GX.
[21/02/2013 22:39:43] Mewily: I could see them traveling through the Barian World and the Astral World at some point. The Numeron Code would probably be somewhere in the Astral World, if only so there's more of a reason for them to travel to the Astral World.
[21/02/2013 22:39:48] Human: I can see how it's cheap.
[21/02/2013 22:40:22] Human: The Opening had the ship where the Number Cards are stored actually working.
[21/02/2013 22:40:53] Mewily: I think that the ship plays a part in one of the upcoming episodes.
[21/02/2013 22:40:54] Human: Maybe that's how they'll go to the Astral World.
[21/02/2013 22:41:37] Human: Maybe if they replaced Yuma's friends with the Arclights, it could work more.
[21/02/2013 22:41:57] Human: Anna was wearing a school uniform in the 3rd Ending.
[21/02/2013 22:42:17] Human: Now she has come to the show in an episode wearing it.
[21/02/2013 22:42:28] Human: I can see the same happening with III.
[21/02/2013 22:43:06] Mewily: I like most of the Arclights more than Yuma's friends, except Chris since he was boring, but I don't think that would have worked any better. As for Anna, I think it's just part of a costume since everyone else is wearing a costume. I really don't want another unnecessary character in the main/supporting cast. There are too many of those as it is.
[21/02/2013 22:44:50] Human: III did say he'd meet again with Yuma, and that just depends on what the writers would do with him.
[21/02/2013 22:45:38] Mewily: He and his family would have to help out with the new storyline to appear.
[21/02/2013 22:46:26] Human: Maybe they went to the Astral World.
[21/02/2013 22:46:37] Human: At some point, Yuma and Astral have to be there.
[21/02/2013 22:46:37] Mewily: That would be kind of cool.
