The Barian villains give off a Dark Signer vibe to me not only with controlling a large crowd of people, but even the monsters in the opening kind of reminded me of the Earthbound Gods. That Number 107 caught my attention and I am curious as to how they're explaining that twist. I'm leading towards that it's a fake Number card created through Barian powers. Since they're already powering up regular Xyz monsters with their powers to create Chaos Xyz monsters, I could believe that they could do something like that as well. It seemed like Astral has a lot of Number cards now. That makes sense, but it would be more satisfying if we actually saw the memories he regained with each one of them.
I'm also guessing that Shark and Rio have some kind of connection to the Barian world considering their reaction to when that villain appeared to that gang, so that does give me the impression, or at least more hope, that Rio will be important to the plot. Hopefully, it won't be the sister in danger and Shark has to rescue her kind of importance, but this already makes her an improvement over the other female characters in my book, so hopefully that continues. The duel started off okay. They also seemed to remember the evil Door and while that's kind of nice, I still think that whatever Yuma sacrificed the last two times he opened the Door should have established a long time ago. I would have liked to see Yuma use something other than Hope, but even with a bunch of Number cards, that's apparently impossible without some contrived Field Spell forcing him to use other Numbers.
