Thread: Your favorite Anime?

My favorite anime hands down is Code Geass (R2 if you're picky, but I also love R1). It definitely has the deepest characters and plot that I've ever seen in an anime.

Other favorites include The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (although I prefer the light novels), Death Note, Ouran High School Host Club and Soul Eater (although I prefer the manga).

its hard to choose between bleach and naruto....overall ive watched naruto more so ill have to say naruto

Fruits basket! i love the story, and the characters. wish there were more than those 26 episodes, though.

One Piece. I've sort of drifted away from liking anime in general and am more enamoured by animation from other countries these days. But One Piece is so wonderfully unique and fun, with genuinely entertaining humour, a real sense of adventure and some seriously engrossing story-telling, that's it's difficult not to be drawn in by it's charm. It's not just my favourite anime show at current, but one of my favourite animated series of all time.

Trigun, Hunter X Hunter, Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Golden Boy and Desert Punk to name a couple.

I agree. One Piece is my favourite anime because it does so many things so well. Quirky humour, great characters, LOTS of creative ideas behind almost everything, a soundtrack to die for and powerful, tearjerking drama. I´m not ashamed to say that I cried during Chopper´s and Nami´s background episodes...:p

And it is at Thriller Bark now in its German Version and almost uncut. And I thought the anime was cancelled/butchered in Germany...BEST NEWS EVER!!

Evangelion gets my 2nd favourite anime vote and Sailor Moon is third (Sailor Star S is the greatest thing since slices bread).

I have a few favorites, always have trouble deciding this one. But it's somewhere between Kekkaishi, Kaiji, Giant Robo and Soul Eater.
