I've seen only few anime series, but these are the ones I've liked the most.
* .hack//SIGN (26 eps): awesome storyline
* Summer Wars (movie): awesome storyline, extremely detailed eyecandy
* Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (still running, 49 eps aired, estimate 63 episodes): complex character relations, interesting story, action that isn't too violent but is still exciting (I want to write it as Full Metal, but it's officially without the space...)
* Rozen Maiden /Träumend/Ouvertüre (12+12 eps, 2 OVAs): I don't know, it just was relaxing and funny :p

Azumanga Daioh, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, K-On!, Sailor Moon, Digimon, and some others but these are the ones I prefer.

Yu-Gi-Oh GX (I actually liked Jaden more than Yugi as a main character. IMO Joey was the only good character in the original series.)

I see far too much. =__= Naruto (and most ninja shows) is(/are) majorly over rated.

And sort of School Days cause it had one of the most brilliant choices in endings I've ever seen. Yeeeah bad ending for a Visual Novel. xD

I love Fooly Cooly, but I try not to watch it to often, because when I do, I become obsessed with it for weeks, and get depressed when I'm not watching it.

This surprised me, people usually say this is one of Miyazaki's weakest films, including Moving Castle. It was good though

I rented this expecting a sci-fi film, so I felt disappointed, but when I re-watched it, I was pleasantly surprised.
