Thread: Worst Anime/Manga you've encountered?

Arm of Kannon. I have never regretted buying a sealed manga more...characters are planks of wood, some panels are outright freaky

for instance, main character finds his mother cut up in pieces naked in the fridge, as well as a disturbing sexual scene

and the whole thing is just....meh, don't read it!

Naruto C:

At first I didn't like Yu-Gi-Oh, but it's actually better than I thought. I would have to say Johto-era Pokemon anime.

I generally don't watch anime that I do feel will be interesting to me, so I probably have missed a lot of movies and series that I wouldn't enjoy, but I will say that I have found Lucky Star to be one of the worst anime series I have watched in a long time. I remember hearing "hey, there's this new slice of life series revolving around some high school girls that just started airing in Japan," so being the Azumanga Daioh junkie that I am, I watched the first episode. I found myself bored out of my mind. Later I was told by others who were watching the series further that it got better... so later I tried to get caught up, but I found myself totally dropping the series around episode 13. I just didn't like it, it seemed too bland and I couldn't really find myself getting into the characters.

Manga... I honestly can't think of anything that I really disliked at the moment when it comes to manga. I DO dislike that the English release of Dr. Slump was censored, but that doesn't kill my enjoyment of the manga, which I absolutely adore.

20th Century Boys is awesome.
I think Bleach deserves a recognition for most fillers ever.

I'd say Green Green is the worst anime I've ever watched. Storyline wasn't interesting, dull characters and the music was very repetitive.

Sorry if anyone likes this anime. It just didn't work for me.

Go-Bots(Worst Transformers Spin-Off EVER!)
Transformers Animated(I still cant believe I watched it...)
Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's, well Yu-Gi-Oh at all for me, wasnt very interesting at all
Teen Titans(Although I do think its interesting, It sometimes just isnt good)

and thats about it...but the top one on my list of the most hated Anime was tied between Go-Bots, and Transformers Animated

It's debatable if Teen Titans is an anime, and I'm pretty sure the Go-Bots toy line came before Transformers. ._.

Oh yeah, I want to say that I don't really like Death Note. It was just plain boring, though maybe I should give it a second chance and start over from the beginning of the series. Maybe that's why I couldn't get into it.

The only one of those that can be really classified as "anime" is Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, really.

But, personally, I've never watched an anime I didn't like. Maybe I haven't watched enough different series, though. Er, wait a minute...not really a big fan of Naruto.
