Some pokemon dvds and a promo disc
^Well it is up to date now and with more coming every few weeks
I guess it wouldn't hurt to actually own anime... however, I don't have the money to support such hobby and I'd miss the superior typesetting etc. of fansubs anyway. So yeah, I don't have anything as an official release, and not seeing owning anything in the near future. :F
I have box full of my anime sitting next to my laptop. Let me take a momment to check what I have...
Pokemon (Seasons 1-8 on boxset)
Pokemon: Lucario and the mystery of mew
Gurren Lagann Collection
Gurren Lagann Movie Collection
I don't feel like typing up everything, but I'll post the list later.
Basically I own nearly every dubbed Miyazaki movie. As for TV serieses, I have a lot, but a lot of the ones I own I don't even like (I buy them because they look interesting or I think that I will like them or I'm just curious about them... then when I actually watch them I don't like them at all). All my stuff is dubbed though... the only Japanese stuff I have is if they provide a Japanese option on the same disc, although I rarely watch them in Japanese anyway.
I don't own a great deal (I've got the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 9th Pokémon movies) but I will always treasure my Cardcaptor Sakura box set (episodes 1-70).
A few GTO DVDs, Gasaraki, every episode of Slam Dunk, a Dragon Box, and the Rurouni Kenshin OVAs and movie, just about. I'm more a manga kind of guy, and I prefer to spend my money on things I can't get online.
I don't know if this counts, but I got a fairly large collection of Disney animated films on home video tape.
I also had a few video tapes of Pokemon (some of the early kanto episodes), but I don't know if they'd work...
Sailor Moon Super S 1, 2, and 6 (DVD, bilingual)
Sailor Moon R: The Promise of the Rose (VHS, English)
Sailor Moon Super S: The Black Dream Hole (VHS, English)
Bleach Movie 1 (DVD, English) This was a gift from a good friend of mine that also is an anime fan
The Slayers classic, Next, and TRY box set (DVD, bilingual)
I only own Brigadoon and Lucky Star on DVD, I'm more of a manga collector.
All of Dragon Ball, including Z and GT. Unfortunately, I have the cropped Z sets, rather than the Dragon Boxes, but they do their job well enough. I'm not forking over $9000 for a Dragon Box Z vol. 2.
I'm not kidding you, either. They go for literally upwards of $9000 in certain cases.
Now, I'm collecting One Piece.
Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy, and the film Princess Mononoke.
