The Slayers Revolution and Slayers Evolution-R's English dubbing cast has been announced:

Xellos: Michael Sinterniklaas

Funimation will ship Slayers Revolution in early 2010.

Say what you will about Funimation, but I love them to death for getting the original cast back (with the exception of David Moo as Xelloss- but Sinterniklaas is awesome if his work in Pokemon is any indication).

Day one purchase for me.

Hell-bloody YES.

I don't really care about Xellos, but this is one hell of a good move. Easily as good as putting seasons 1 and 2 on Youtube for everyone to watch.

Blah, don't care. No Moo, no me (well, not really; Slayers was too obnoxious for me, especially the dub choice).

Yup I was really happy to hear this. Surprised they went through all that for a show that's not as big as it was years ago.

As I asked elsewhere, is Jillas in Revolution? Because I wonder who they'd get to replace Maddie.

Nope, that character remained exclusive to Try.

I like the old dubs, I like the old subs. It's great to have as much of the original cast back as they could, kudos for Funi.
