Thread: Shaman king

Shaman King is a cool anime, I saw a few eps of it before.

And I also own a video game of it, too (that game was fun :)).


I'm not that highly knolagable on the series, though...but it is intresting.

Its a great series! you should read the manga, definitely.

I cant wait till May! Im so glad their done with the Yoh/Anna flashback thing. That took forever T_T

Is this new? (Or just the old one?) I've only been following inasmuchas "When is the final volume coming out?!"-ness.

I love Anna. And Yoh. And Amidamaru, Manta (aww!), Ren, Horohoro, Ryu, Chocolove, Bason, even Hao! ...have I missed anyone? ^^" I guess the only people I didn't like was Lyserg and the X Laws, whiny brat.

Oh, and I ship AnnaxYoh, duh.

The ending to Shaman King sucks.

I mean, it's such a freaking nonending! It really sucks that it got canceled before it was finished. Funbari no Uta just wasn't enough to satisfy me. I mean, you don't even see what happened to Manta.

I did enjoy Shaman King while it lasted, though. I really like Horokeu and Manta.

Snake Bandage, that wasnt the actual ending. He's decided to continue it. And Funbari no Uta is actually just a possible end to the series, not the definite one. So that might be how it ends up, might not.

Huh? Where did he continue it?

Shaman King's final volume and the real ending comes out tomorrow April 4th 2009 in Japan.
Brace yourselves, that is one really good manga's ending that is a must read.

Oh, I see! I didn't know that. Hopefully it'll make up for that crap non-ending.

Dude, what the hell was that with chapter 288? I mean... NO SERIOUSLY WHAT WAS THAT. XD That made about as much sense as an elephant in a beret.

Seriously, Mangaka Takei must have got sloppy back in 2004 when he quit SK (probably didn't have anymore ideas left to continue SK). I think he must have left this chapter in and wrote the rest of the conclusion after this.
But seriously again, didn't we already have dozens of chapters full of Faust and Eliza sickening us all the way?:bawling:
287 was a really good start, 288 was a bit off. Now we can't look at the Koropukkuru the same way again...
Anyway, I'm ogling the names of the remaining chapters. Dang they sound goooooood!!!!

I need to wait for scanslations of vol.27 cos I seriously didn't get it. (And yeah, the Horo Horo story was random as hell!)

Hao's mum makes an entrance, and Yoh does some weird "Oniiii~chan!" stuff O_o

We also get a sorta continuation thing of Funbari no Uta, and there's some real weirdness, including Anna looking like a total hippie amongst other, more shocking things.

I am not that far ahead! I'm just on chapter 289, which BTW is now out! Which is much better than 288 mind you.

Gotta love Ren and Lyserg's slash and burn policy! Opacho goes on the offensive at last!
However, being the SK anime-only freak I am, I'm a bit low on the manga before 286.
Umm, How come there is a walled jungle next to Kalim's place?
Why do they have to fight the ten priests?
What happened when Hao visited the Asakuras as mentioned at the end of this chapter?
