Everyone knows the guy from his Dragon Ball career, but Akira Toriyama also wrote a manga called Sand Land.

All I can describe it as is Dragon Ball meets Fallout, with Laharl as one of the protagonists. It's pretty fuckin' awesome, if you don't get the message.
