Manga UK license Dragonball Z?
So how long ago was it that Dragonball Z was on UK DVD? Somewhere around a 100 years ago?
Anyways, earlier this year, a strange listing appeared on the BBFC's website (British Board of Film Classification), listing a Dragonball Z remastering extra. Manga UK were listed as the submitter, but they denied claims they've licensed the series. However, this was found in the company's MCM Expo catalogue:

So, Manga Entertainment UK are releasing season 1 of Dragonball Z on DVD on 26th December 2011. Kind of odd how they didn't opt to get Dragonball Z Kai instead...

Re: Manga UK license Dragonball Z?
The boxsets with really bad "remastering" and a shitload of uselessly high number of widescreen'd episodes? Seems pretty late now that all DBnerds a little west of the Atlantic have every Dragonbox as of... what, October?
Not that I'm into watching DBZ repeatedly the third time, especially now that my apathy for the franchise has peaked to a new level...
