Thread: Live action Bakugan movie in the works

I'm not a fan of the series but I thought people/fans might want to know.

Sorry if this is in the wrong area, I didn't know if it should be here or in the Japanese area?

Its pretty much safe to say that this is going to be a truckload of retardation, but of course the children will still want to watch it. Some advice kids, Live action and Anime/Video games mix like oil and water, so don't get your hopes up.

Since, unless I'm mistaken, Bakugan originated in Japan, I'm going to shuffle this over to that section, like we did when Dragonball was getting a movie.

This is like that live-action Pokémon trailer that those fans made some time ago.

Of course, that's only because Bakugan is worse than DBZ in the first place.

I can say this. It'll be just like DBZ Evolution it seems, but given how I prefer DBZ over Bakugan, I can easily say this film will make Evolution look like a masterpiece in comparison. Though I never really did watch Evolution yet.

This what it will be like

Basicly this is the worst idea ever!

I don't know very much about Bakugan but I've seen a glimpse here and there, to know that a live action Bakugan is more feasible/reasonable than most special effect/character design anime like Dragonball or Pokemon.

It all really comes down to the budget, the special effects, the actors and probably most importantly the plot/story of the movie.

I will repeat myself on that I know very little about Bakugan, pretty much only seeing previews and never even a full straight episode, so I'm probably missing some anime nuances that probably wouldn't translate very well into a live action movie. But from what I've seen it should be more reasonable/feasible than some of the other anime shows.

This is the biggest fail I think I've ever heard.

The anime is really bad in my opinion. Or at least the newer episodes are. The old ones weren't quite as horrible, but that's a different story.

Let's just hope that it's better than the anime. This is going to be very... interesting.
