As far as I know it's the same context as Heisei, just not "specifically" referring to the Heisei era. The characters itself mean "current era/age".

    Ah, okay.

So it would be 現代雷神, Gendai Raijin, right? Or would something else be correct?

Do you mean the city, Kobe? If so, the Kanji is 神戸.... not sure what you're trying to use. As far as I know, it's fine to use だろう like that.

You'd have to use でしょう in situations that call for です/ます. Otherwise, だろう is fine.

I waffle between recommending Remembering the Kanji (not free, what I used, rather boring) and Kanjidamage (free, hilariously dirty sense of humor, glosses over some details of stroke order and shape out of laziness). If you go with the latter, I recommend pairing it with the Yamasa online dictionary. Imitate the look of the stroke order diagram.

    KANJIDAMAGE
    Yamasa Online Japanese Dictionary

In both cases, I strongly recommend using Anki (unless there's already another spaced repetition program you like). Learn to write each character prompted by the English keyword and you'll be one huge step closer to 本物の日本語で書くことにさ。

Okay, I'll spoilertag the question in case there's some really young Japanese speakers present. I'm not entirely sure my question isn't quite rude.
