Well, Windows Vista in Japanese would be...

Well, you're in luck, then! ^_^ Or psychic. One or the other. But yes, the touch screen is put to good use with you practicing how to write the characters. The game also makes good use of the microphone, giving you an opportunity to match your pronunciation with that of Japanese speakers. The game itself is well-paced, too.
I can do that for you.
With Japanese, I can't figure out how the whole conditional thing works. When do you use eba, tara and the other ones?
It can be confusing, huh?
With たら, it is equivalent to "if". Example:
I will ask about it, if I Professor Yamashita.
If somebody is a Japanese person, then they will probably know this word.
As you can see, we change the verb in the "if" clause to short past. If we're just sticking to the conditional aspect of it though, I won't go into how it arranges temporal sequences, unless you would like it.
In Japanese, we generally call that "eba", ば form. To tell you the truth, it is pretty much the same as たら. It's really simple too. All you do is change the last "u" to "eba".
If I can do my homework, we can go shopping.
It would be good if I had money, huh?
If it is not fun, I also won't go.
If you don't eat, you will get sick.
Does this all make sense? Please tell me if it doesn't. I'm not the best at explaining these things. If you are interested, I can explain たらば, ならば, and と, it's just that this post is getting pretty long.
Hello! This thread is a great idea.
My dream is to go to Japan one day. But All I can in Japanese is greeting. :p.....
I even can't write the symbols.
Next month I am starting a course in learning japanese.
SO I thought you guys could help me out a bit in this wonderful language.
Can someone write down in katakana
the sentence "I love Anime"
And how do you say that in japanese
:)
I also think this is a great thread!
I'm a Japanese native and a college student in Tokyo. I'm learning Japanese language, history, grammar etc...
I don't come this forum very frequently, but I will answer your questions as much as I can.
For crolion
Konnichiwa!(Konbanwa?)
The sentence "I love anime" is written as
"アイラブアニメ" or
"アイ ラブ アニメ" in katakana.(sometimes "ラヴ" instead of "ラブ" but not usually)
And we say it as
"私はアニメが大好きです" ("be very fond of"/"like very much")
"私はアニメを愛しています" ("LOVE"(愛)="great affection" more than a "simple favorite emotion" according to my own feeling)
The pokemon movie's season has come in Japan. The movie is showing almost all big theaters around Japan.
In my Kanto region(Tokyo, Saitama prefecture, and so on), the stamp rally of JR East's train stations and many other events has held during children's summer vacation.
I will also go to the pokemon movie!
PS.("PS" is also used in Japan!)
I've enjoyed "K-On!(けいおん!)" and "CLANNAD" animes made by Kyoto Animation.
If some of you love the works of Kyoto Animation and you have a chance to go to Kyoto, you can go to see the studios of Kyoto Animation! (less than an hour from the center Kyoto by Keihan train)
Thanks D-Ryukei....I will ake sure to learn japanese as soon as possible (in sace of 1 or 2 years) Then I'll come to Japan.
I tried to buy Ubisoft My Japanese Coach on eBay twice- Some freakishly rich person outbid me by $10 when I bid six. T_T Why didn't you just bid $6.01?
Anyways... How can I say
-Hello/Hi
-Yo
-Thank you
-Bathroom
-Sushi bar ^_^
-Screw/**** you (Just to insult my friends in something they can't understand)
I was wondering if someone knows the exact pronunciation for a few names.
The names are:
Thanks in advance
So I can read it.
-Hello/Hi- Ohaiyogozaimas
-Yo- Jahnay (only if you're a girl, if you're a guy you'll look stupid, I'd go with Ohaio if you're a guy)
-Thank you- Arigato
-Bathroom- Toide
-Sushi bar ^_^- um... I should know but I don't ^_^
-Screw/**** you (Just to insult my friends in something they can't understand)- I like to go with Anata no Okasan... (Your mom)
Pretty sure on these.
Though I'm sure I'll be corrected by someone...
