I've been studying the Japanese language for almost 4 years now.

I currently working on my kanji, learning the on and kun reading.

I'm still working on my sentence structures and phrases. :)

The problem with Japanese is it just keeps on expanding especially the kanji, I've just finished Grade 6 and have graduated to Secondary 中学校 (literally, middle school). And please bare with my spelling, it can sometimes be horrid.

Aside from a few seprate words and the honorrifics, I have no idea how to speak it.

English, Deutch, Руский- I can deal with them. But Japanease- I dobut I could crack this nut. xD

Yuck, my Japanese sucks xDU. I learnt it watching a lot of anime but it sucks anyway =( I know the REALLY basic grammar, the pronuntiation, a few words, a few expressions, all the honorifics and a little bit of katakana and hiragana :( Same is nothing =( (Oh hell but I can speak english with Japanese pronuntiation xDU). I would like to improve my japanese :3

Does memorizing the sequence of a hiragana keyboard count?
I know a couple of kanji, and quite a few spoken phrases. Still learning.

    Thanks to Blazaking EX!

I'm curently learning Japanese via a beginner course so I guess I know the basics: hiragana, katakana, verb tenses and basic grammar. I'll be continuing throughout May and June so I hope that I'll be able to learn a few kanji.

LUCKY! If I memorized a Japanese keyboard, I could type Japanese a lot faster. But I'm stuck with typing it out in Romaji and that takes longer.

Yeah, I don't really know where I am in Japanese. I'm currently playing through a Japanese Heart Gold and I can't say I don't know what's going on. I'd say I'm ok in Japanese...
I learned the seru/saseru and the seru/saseru/saserareru endings but I always forget them when I need them. I'm kind of getting the hand of what the difference beteween the は and が particles is. I'm having a hard-ass time on the tara/kereba/nara part though. I've read about it at least 20 times and I'm still @_@

Right now I'm trying to improve my listening skills and I picked up a workbook on the internet so maybe I'll get even better. And I learned how to say stuff like kawaisou and oishisou.

    I'm getting there.

I don't think I've met anyone who actually types directly in kana. All my coworkers type Japanese using a normal qwerty keyboard.

I'm starting to learn it. I know quite a few words that when translated into English, I understand. I can count to 10, I know a few colors, and a bunch of random words. I understand how to do honorifics.

In reading it, I'm terrible. So bad, that I don't know more than 3 symbols. I'm trying to decide whether to learn Kanji or Katakana.
