You all know what I mean. What do you think of this trope? Is it cool or just plain silly to you? What are some noteworthy examples of this?

I don't see anything wrong with it, although to me most of the titles that are like this all seem the same. They can work, however, like in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal; "The Combo of Hope! Armored Xyz Activate!" The advantage that series can have with these type of titles is that some don't ALWAYS use episode titles like that.

I don't really like it. There's something really cheesy about it, and if the Pokemon anime is any indication, they sometimes spoil the most important events of the episode and give away what happened in previous episodes.

    Who is this git?

I agree with the Pokemon episode titles. The most notable titles had been in the Don Tournaments where an episode ends with a battle unfinished, but the next episode has a title that let's you know who won anyways.
