Scan of the former protagonists and their 'mons. Allegedly, they're supposed to be appearing in episode 24 and there wasn't any word on a movie, but people keep yo-yoing their words so often that I really don't know what to believe anymore.

As an aside, seeing all those final forms together makes me realise how much I dislike those designs.

Why this finale will suck:

- Those scans do not contain Taiki.
- Why is Imperialdramon in dragon mode... Fighter mode and paladin mode look much nicer...
- Similarly, ShineGreymon? Burst mode is your friend.
- Dukemon Crimson mode wair r u

********** And it just feels dirty/wrong to have Milleniummon as a final boss if you don't have Ryou fighting him, IMO.

I'm amazed Takuya gets Susanoomon.

Yes, but you just know Tagiru finds a way to ruin even the most epic of things within seven minutes. He has a talent for it.

I'm wondering if Tai will Xros Gabumon and Agumon together to make Omnimon, ala that game that will never make it to the English countries?

Today's episode was actually quite good, if not only because the premise for the episode was immensely lulzy (SRS BSNSS CARD GAMES, WHY IS THIS SO FAMILIAR).

Yuu needs more focus episodes, because his episodes are the only ones that are competently written and show continuity. It was utterly refreshing to see development that wasn't just an asspull; basically the COTD's revelations are all the revelations that Yuu made in the last series. Hiroya's words about understanding that it's not just a game is basically repeating Yuu's revelations of the last series back to him. Yuu understands in an intimate way, in a way that no one else would (and rookchessmon's pre-evo is knightmon which is a very smart move by the writers). Also it was really nice how this episode Yuu's place as the team's trap master; he was way more covert but equally/less skilled than Taiki in making tactics calls, and is obviously different from Tagiru.

Dragon Mode > Fighter/Paladin Mode. Seriously. Dragon Mode is too far underrated. I'm surprised you didn't even consider the fact that there's Omnimon but no Matt.

That's just the color of the picture.

The latest episode just aired, and the next episode preview looked par the course of this series...random CoTDs, Tagiru challenging the Digital Monster of the week. Nothing particulary special.
Then BAM. Taichi, Masaru and their partners, launching attacks at stuff. With speaking roles, by the looks of things!
