I've already posted in here, but I really like a few very diverse genres. For example, I just got done listening to some glitch, and now I'm listening to bebop jazz.
If I had to list the catch-all music families that I'm fond of, it would be house (Daft Punk, Justice, occasionally deadmau5), jazz (Bob Crosby, John Coltrane, Billie Holiday), alternative rock (Radiohead, Muse, Coldplay, Sigur Ros), and hip-hop (The Sound Providers, Kero One, The Globetroddas). Then there's glitch (Ametsub), which is a subgenre of electronica that I'm particularly in love with.
As for the poll, I voted for Soft Rock.
EDIT: And now I'm listening to jazz rap.
Rock. Mostly alternative, i think.
I listen to rock, metal, and weird stuff like parody songs or ones from children's movies:goof:.
I love death metal; specifically, the lyrics, breakdowns and drum beats.
I listen to a lot of J-pop, as well as K-pop, folk, symphonic metal, and rock - just a whole bunch of stuff honestly.
I can stand anything, that is not too electronic.
Overall, I like many subgenres of metal (now I prefer death and doom, but it depends of my mood), on the other places would be post-punk-ish and goth rock-ish bands (I am not very good in setting boundaries between genres, thus the -ish affixes :) ) and classical, even when I really cannot tell composers or the era, but it sounds good to my ear.
In addition to this, I must say that old pop/disco songs (as those from ABBA) are also very listenable.
So, it is quite a wide range I think :D
I like a lot of genres, but my favorites tend to be jazz and rock. (Especially the former. It's relaxing. =w=)
I'm pretty much everywhere on my music choices, but my faves are rock (punk especially), ska, and electro-house.
I listen to Alt Rock, mostly. I love them. Also a bit of Pop when it's good.
I listen to so many bits of so many different genres that I can't exactly list them, but I'd say that my favourites seem to consistently involve some classic rock, electronic or house influence.
I listen to pretty much every genre, so it's hard to pick one. I mean I enjoy almost every genre I have experienced, whether that be Hardcore Punk, Dub Techno, Folk Pop or Free Jazz. I love music.
Rock and metal. What else is there?
(Classic) Country.
I like Indie bands for the most part, however i'm open to all genres with the exception of Metal.
