The Queen's Gambit, by Walter Tevis.
I don't play chess, but now I kind of want to learn.

I wish I broke mirrors instead of promises 'cause all I see is a shattered conscience staring right back at me
FinishedDEM-landArtemis Fowl: The Last Guardian (by Eoin Colfer), so back to Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin.

This is more of a play than an actual book, but I'm about halfway through Part I of Goethe's Faust. Mephistopheles is awesome!!! :D (I must be weird for thinking so.) Very cool story so far.
Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman still. Now I'm used to reading it, the story really gets me. It's so beautifully and tragically political.

Nowadays I feel bad about posting on this thread because it's Portuguese stuff probably no one knows, but hey, they're still books!
Now I'm reading a book whose title roughly translates to "Odes by Ricardo Reis". For those who don't know, Ricardo Reis is a heteronym (sort of a roleplay character, if you want to put it in simple terms) of Fernando Pessoa, considered one of our best writers. It's filled with quite interesting poetry. Most of Pessoa's works are interesting, but I'm not sure if they translate well in English. However, he did know English quite well and wrote some things in that language, so do try to poke around Google or something if you want to read some of the poems he wrote in English.
Animorphs 12: The Reaction by K.A. Applegate. I found some of them in a library.

I've decided to reread the Fire of Heaven series, starting with Across the Face of the Earth. It's a pretty decent fantasy series: certainly good enough to renew my interest in fantasy.
