I just finished Palace of the Damned by Darren Shan. It ended with the kind of cliffhangers that he does so well, and it's slightly annoying me because I have no idea when the next one will be out.

I love Darren Shan, but sadly I haven't gotten the chance to start that particular series. Better check it out!

I recently finished Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers. Enjoyed it greatly. Found it very interesting.

I've almost finshed the book "Under the dome by Stephen King".

At first i was a bit intimidated by the size of this book which is 1100+ pages, but then I found it surprisingly easy read and zapped through the pages quickly. Just hoping it doesn't have a lame ass ending.

Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. Very disappointed with it so far, Isaacson seemed hesitant to really go into Jobs' psyche, which is what I was interested in since the guy was so fascinating. As a result the book is very by-the-numbers and safe; it has some nice trivia and new information, but the lack of insight into Jobs and Apple's supporting characters was surprising considering the almost unlimited access the author had.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.

It's a great book, even though all the old photos can be downright creepy.

Crack some heads for me, darlings. Thank you, and good night.

I'm reading '48 by James Herbert. People have died of a desease caused in WW2, and there are only a few survivors.
Captain Lincoln Stern, you stand here accused of...
12 counts of murder in the first degree
14 counts of armed theft of Federation property
22 counts of piracy in high space
    18 counts of fraud
    37 counts of rape
and 1 moving violation....how do you plead?

    Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell.

I'm a sucker for dystopian and/or post-apocalyptic stuff. This, for those of you who are unfamiliar, is dystopian. And it's amazing.

I'm also in the middle of the quite-famous My Little Pony fan fiction "Fallout: Equestria" (and highly enjoying it), it that counts.

A Dance with Dragons by George R.R. Martin

I'm doing a reread of it, but much more slowly this time around.

I just finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy. See two post above, I'm a post-apocalyptica junkie.

I'm also in the process of reading The Beast Who Shouted Love at the Heart of the World by Harlan Ellison. It'sa collection of short stories and a couple novellas, but the only reason I got it initially was so I could read the novella "A Boy and His Dog". Which is post-apocalyptic, yes. Maybe I'll read the other stories in the collection, but "A Boy and His Dog" is why I checked out the book in the first place.
