The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan, for school. Actually doesn't seem too bad so far.
I'm also planning on re-reading Catch-22 by Joseph Heller sometime soon.Once I catch up on all this work I have to do.

The Fellowship of the Ring, by J. R. R. Tolkien. It's really, really good.
If Pippin dies I'm going to die too though
I'm also reading a Tolkien book. I'm readding The Children of Hurin, which I rented from the library. It's about a guy named Turin and all the crazy stuff that happens to him. Right now, I'm at the part where he is smitten with the elf Finduilas.
It's a good read.
