Thread: Songs That You Hate

Simple thread is simple. List some songs you hate.

One that comes to mind for me would be The Rumor Has It. It's constantly playing on my favorite radio station and I hate it.

Everything by LMFAO. Every single song is awful.

-Where Have You Been by Rihanna
-Don't Wake Me Up by Chris Brown
-Let Me Love You by Ne-Yo

Only three that come to mind....the repetition of lyrics irks me. And my sister having these songs on repeat doesn't help. >.>

anything with bieber, one direction, or nicki minaj. that my sister loves them andplays them the whole day doesn't help

I love Where Have You Been because it is repetitive. It blends pop music and straight up house perfectly. Favourite Rihanna song!

More songs I hate; Everything by Kenny G, Chris Brown, Eminem, 50 Cent and all hip-hop skits.

Pretty much all rap. But as far as specific songs go, I hate Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) with unbelievable passion. In fact, I can't stand hearing Beyonce, to be honest.

Same for Flo Rida, and for Adele. I will NEVER understand the appeal of Adele's songs.

My heart, it was crushed xD

Anyway, pretty much all the generic pop piano ballads with wailing vocals. Jar of Hearts, from Christina Perri comes to mind.
So needless to say, that includes Adele. I actually like Rumor Has It, though.

And Call Me Maybe, I just hate it. It didn't help that the internet was obsessed with it.

Literally every song Jay-Z sings, raps, whatever you call his crap.

"Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepson. At first I liked it... then the radio played it over and over...

Rihanna. I just hate something about her voice.

Come Sail Away by Styx. I generally like Styx, but this song got stuck in my head for 2 months, so I now really hate it.

Most Rap/Hip-Hop stuff really.

I also hate almost all rap music. (Not counting Linkin Park style raps)

Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" Bleh, idk why. :/
And Hedley's "Perfect". The high note always made me cringe.

The Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, LMFAO, and Flo Rida songs that I've listened to so far.

MOST OVERPLAYED SONGS EVER.

- Pachelbel's Canon - because I'm a cellist (the cello part sucks hard) and it's so incredibly overplayed at weddings by people who want to seem impressive but don't actually listen to classical music (if they did they'd realize how boring this one is, both in general and also compared to other shit Pachelbel wrote)

- The entire Nickelback song catalogue

- "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. I used to hate Titanic just because of that song.

- Most "contemporary Christian" music (informed by being a pastor's kid and wondering why people love this dreck when there's so much gorgeous and actually inspiring religious music out there) ESPECIALLY "Christmas Shoes" aka the worst and also most unsettling Christmas song ever WHY THE FUCK DOES ANYONE PLAY THIS OR LIKE THIS

- I don't hate it per se, but I'm getting really really sick of hearing "Call Me Maybe" and I don't even listen to the radio.

-"Baby" by Justin Bieber. Okay, I actually do hate this one, and along with being incredibly overplayed when it came out it's also extremely catchy. If I hear even a few seconds of it, it's stuck in my head the rest of the day. WHY
