Thread: Rate the Above Band

Where you rate the band that the previous poster posted, then post a band for the next poster to rate.

Add a sentence or two of reasoning to your rating please.

If you haven't heard of the band, then either go Youtube one of their songs or don't post.

They don't just have to be bands, you can post singers or musicians as well.

I'll start:

The Beatles

8/10 Some good shit goin' on.

Gorillaz

6/10 I've listened to them a few times. I honestly wouldn't be super upset if they didn't exist.

Journey

I wish they did stop believing in themselves - 3/10

Black Sabbath

7/10 As far as metal goes they are one of my less disliked bands.

Sly and the Family Stone

7/10. I have an appreciation for them because they've been fundamental in the soul and funk genres. They're classic and as always there music is catchy; much better than the poppy shit on the radio nowadays. If they're on I'll listen, but they're not something I seek to listen to. You wouldn't find any of their music in my library.

Blink-182

1.82/10 Top ten of my most hated bands.

The Clash

7/10 It's an interesting band, that's for sure. I honestly don't listen to them much, but when I do, they're enjoyable.

The Rolling Stones

I could just never get into them, I don't hate the Stones, but I don't care from them one iota. 4/10

Bob Dylan

10/10 He wrote every single song ever.

The Band

More like the bland, amirite? nah, they're like 6-7/10

Oasis

7/10 They're okay but I consider them kind of overrated.

Justin Bieber isn't a band, he's a single artist. Granted, I respect his career, having come out of nowhere. He's making millions and having a major effect on the music industry. I don't really care for him nor any of his songs, as radio-friendly as they are. Too much Pop. 5/10.

New Radicals

5/10

I've never really heard of this band but I have heard their song called You Get What You Give, and it's not too bad.
The Cure

@Beck; I just don't like them. I don't like their voices, their attitude, their personality, their immaturity, I don't like pop punk and I don't like songs about wanking or whatever the hell the sing about.

The Cure - A pretty great goth band that had it all and lost it, couple classic alnums, so 8/10.
