The song would have been awesome if it was a smidgeon shorter.

This episode was gold for Applejack (a first, IMO). Though I'm not so happy about Rainbow getting kicked around every other episode.

That aside, oh my goddesses, the the expressions in this episode. Brilliant, especially Cheerilee's and Rainbow's. She seemed... I don't know how to describe the below image, but it was definitely intentional.

And Fluttershy at the beginning. Are you hiding something, Flutter? (...no)
And then the ending. I laughed for three minutes straight at the subverted lesson and the goofy walk cycle. Applejack totally trolled the master troll.

An excellent 9/10. But let's set the apples aside for a bit (I just don't think they're that great)

I don't get you guys complaining about the song for being too long when "Becoming Popular" wasn't even 2-3 minutes long.

Cider is an alcoholic drink popular in Europe; I would assume this is the cider they were refereeing to, although it is also used to refer to a non-alcoholic drink made in the same way.

I’m really glad to see so much of Applebloom in recent episodes the voice actress who plays her Michelle Creber is a truly great talent & it’s nice to see her getting so many lines. She seems professional also judging from her interview with EverFree Radio which is very much worth listening to.

My absolute favorite part of the episode was at the end when Applejack is writing her letter to Celestia, then stops and laughs and says, "I didn't learn anything! I was right all along!" XDDD

This was a great episode and I enjoyed it the whole way through. Everypony's characterization was spot on. I loved the song too, made me feel like I was watching a Broadway show or something :D

10/10. But damn did it make me crave apple cider badly! XD

Well i have been watching MLP FIM a lot, and i do like it the characters are likeable, and it is nice to look at. what is the female counter part to a bronie, also pinky pie is my favorite. i just watched the episode in which twilight Sparkle goes a little crazy( I forget the name) I feel like I am going to have nightmares after that one.

There's Pegasister, but Brony is a gender neutral term.

For all you "Bronys." This video is for you.

I'll never forget the song by those two brothers. Never, ever. Nor the "cider, cider, cider" part by all the ponies... gold XD But the ending was the best, Applejack definitely deserves being on my #1 pony list.

Yeah, everything about the song was fantastic. XD When the ponies were chanting "cider" in the background I just...I couldn't handle it XD

Ssaaame, it was so hard not to crack up. The ending seemed rushed to me but AJ's "trolling" made up for it 100% ~

Season 2 improves every week

My favorites are Applejack, Rarity and Princess Celestia.
