I would watch this on actual TV, but I don't even get the Hub with this horrible cable. :( At least I can obsess about it while watching on YouTube.

I saw on episode that somebody sent me on YouTube. It wasn't terrible, wasn't amazing. I don't see why so many people flip about it.

Besides, the 80's version was the best version/troll.

If its one thing I never understood about the show, its how others treat Pinkie Pie. She's one of the best friends, yet everyone seems to hate her. Even the core ponies do!

Not true at all; Rainbow Dash had thought Pinkie was annoying at first, but now they hang out.

Is it wrong for me to think Pinkie Pie is sexier than Rarity?

So I decided to watch this today.

I'm not wowed by it. I may watch more if I feel so inclined.


Here's the thing. Nightmare Moon from the first episode strikes me as a bad imitation of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. There's an element of Aku from Samurai Jack in her as well.

Applejack (I think that's her name) conjures up a lot of similarities to Bunnie Rabbot from Sonic SatAM. However, Bunnie had a FAR better voice actress tied to her. It almost strikes me as an imitation, though, as Applejack uses similar inflections and lingo.

I really do not care for the hyper pink pony, like Amy Rose and Cream the Rabbit rolled into one hellish amalgamation of pink, passion and way too cheery.

The rainbow pony would interest me more if she were more practical with her abilities. Control over the weather? More Thor please. Strike down lightning upon them.

The shy one I'm less critical about, but I'd like to see her lead a real orchestra instead of birds.

I don't know the name of the superficial-minded one, but she needs to be knocked down a notch or two.

If I had to put a favorite pony up, it would be Twilight, because she seems to be the one with the most sense out of anyone. Bookish givers her points as well. Now if she would just remove "Sparkle" from her name and just be called Twilight, it would be fairly perfect.

No, though you might want to look again at the fact that you're ranking ponies in order of sexiness.
