Looking at the talk page of the Bulbanews article McDonald's Happy Meal campaign launched a user called Munlax has said that it is also happening in Denmark. It is not exactly the same as the Japanese promotion but I think this Denmark Happy Meal promotion is the best Happy Meal promotion any poster of this thread would like and see this image in the spoiler to see why I think this

Why must two of my favorite things selling together in a foreign country at a fast restaurant I no longer eat at after watching "Super Size Me" back in high school?

Sorry I'm late to the party, guys. But anyway, "Secret of My Excess":

Where do I start? This episode was fantastic. I don't really have too much to say about it, but I have a couple comments;

- Spike x Rarity shippers... get your keyboards ready.
- The Wonderbolts act heroic and do absolutely nothing to help. Again.
- Spike was lookin' kinda freaky before he became a full-grown dragon... o_O
- Lots of "quick" jokes, which I really like and have been noticing a lack of lately this season
- There are lots of other things I liked about this episode that I can't quite remember

All in all, an absolutely super-terrific-mega-epic-awesome episode. To elaborate a little more on the "quick" jokes, these are jokes that have no set-up, last maybe half a second, and make for quick sh*ts & giggles. You know what I mean. I really like these "quick" jokes, and I love it when the writers make an episode that's riddled with them (like this one). "Quick" jokes are probably the one thing I can never have too much of. This episode had a very good dose of "quick" jokes.

And yes, this episode teaches the basic lesson of greed. Spike's gluttonous behavior was apparent throughout the episode, so I would call this a very well-written one.

So, well-written, and funny too. That's what makes a great episode, and this one hit all the right marks.

Actually, the eye looking through the window is a Godzilla reference. But yes, the rest is quintessential King Kong.

It's nice to see that there are super-special-awesome exclusive promotions in little places like LEGOland Denmark, but damn, I'm feeling kinda jealous of Danes right now.

Hi, everyone. Just saw the newest episode, and I thought I'd stop by. Hope my brother doesn't find out I'm posting here...

I was underwelmed by the last two episodes, but this one was brilliant, my favourite of the second season so far.

It's about time Spike had a new episode to himself, because I love the little guy, and his crush on Rarity is absolutely adorable. I'm happy Fluttershy was able to save the day alongside Rainbow Dash, (No thanks to The Wonderbolts. I'm starting to doubt they live up to their reputation) and wow, can she fly fast when she needs to. If only she could overcome her confidence issues, she could surpass even Rainbow at flying.

All in all, I enjoyed it very much, but please - can Pinkie have a larger role again? She just doesn't get enough screen-time.

Indeed. We definitely need more Pinkie Pie. It's been a while since she's been in a starring role and she needs to have another one again. ;__;

I really enjoyed the newest episode. IMO it was one of their best yet :3

Though personally while the episode was about Spike's greed and selfishness, I couldn't help but feel like Rarity was the selfish one too, I mean, who drops major hints that they want you to give them your birthday present? I mean, seriously, that was just rude >:/ it's his birthday, leave him alone selfishpony! Find your own uber rare amazingly dazzling Fire Ruby. Humph. /pouts

Methinks it's "the Worf Effect" - They are talented fliers, we just never get to see their skills because they're always shown pitted against one of the things they can't deal with.

Applejack has it worse, she has a grand total of one episode that she starred in. Apple Bloom has had more episodes where she was the main character.

Yeah, I feel bad for Applejack. She's a great character but she doesn't get enough love, both in the show and in the fandom.

It must be more difficult to write stories for Pinkie and Applejack than the other characters. Pinkie is too zany and crazy, and Applejack is the easily most sensible of the Mane Six. (Not Twilight. Lesson Zero is solid proof of that)

While it would be nice if Applejack got more love, I think she's better off as a supporting character most of the time. We all love her personality, which is what makes her a good character on the sidelines or supporting the star of the episode, but I don't see too many potential episodes centered around her situational life. I'd love to be proven wrong, though.
