Re: The Last Airbender:The Legend of Korra
Dear god, the people on Youtube are fucking ridiculous. Most of them seem to think that this new season will cause LoK and A;TLA to be RUINED FOREVER. >.>
Personally though, 2013 can't get here quick enough. :O All of this new info is mind blowing awesome. Though, Korra using the Avatar State to win a race is a bit shitty though. :/

It's the Internet, and the YouTube comments section are the cesspool of the Internet. What do you expect? They'll still be watching and cheering when it comes out anyway.
And to be fair, Kuruk was just as bad as Korra seems to be, and probably even worse. It's definitely going to be fodder for Korra's further character development. And holy crap, I just realized, are we finally going to see the return of Koh?
Re: The Last Airbender:The Legend of Korra
Wait, where does it say there's going to be four books? I don't see it. But this all sounds pretty neat! Except for Korra using the Avatar state for something as stupid as winning a race though. >_>
Re: The Last Airbender:The Legend of Korra
I posted a link earlier saying 26 new episodes had been ordered by Nick, in addition to the 14 announced a few months back. Since those 14 episodes have been labeled Book 2, it makes sense that the 26 new ones are going to be similarly split into two additional Books.
And Korra's always been a brash, impulsive Avatar. That's practically the entire point of the first episode. Obviously, she's matured a bit since then, but her nature hasn't been fundamentally changed yet. Plus, it has great potential: the last Avatar to be so impulsive and irresponsible was Kuruk--and his wife's face was stolen by Koh as karmic punishment.
Re: The Last Airbender:The Legend of Korra
^Uh-oh, there goes Mako...?
And there's video! (Not the whole panel, just parts of the show that were described in the previous links, though it's mostly animatics rather than proper animation.)

I know, but still, I'd like to on to a video and not read some asshat caplocking RUINED FOREVER.
I forgot about Kuruk. It's starting to seem that waterbenders make for some of the dumber Avatars. Hahaha. I'd like to see Koh. I mean, we got to see him, what, once A;TLA?
Re: The Last Airbender:The Legend of Korra
I'm highly excited for book 2.
Also, the fact that we'll be getting two more books makes me hopeful that they won't rush the story and development.
Re: The Last Airbender:The Legend of Korra
Oh hey, one of two posters available at Comic-Con was of the Gaang all grown up (both can be seen here).

Re: The Last Airbender:The Legend of Korra
So The Legend of Korra is going to be longer than we thought? That's great. I'm interested in the next season since it seems to deal with spirits and such, which I'd love to learn more about. The new character concept art also looks good; I'm glad we're going back to the Southern Water Tribe.

Awesome picture, but I dislike the lack of Suki. She was Sokka's girlfriend and a part of the group too!

Zuko looks like one badass firelord!
Re: The Last Airbender:The Legend of Korra
Also, is it worth noting that in the New Friends poster, Asami is sorta leaning on Bolin? We already got MakoxKorra...
Re: The Last Airbender:The Legend of Korra
Heh, it's practically a meme now that Zuko's so badass, he can use three swords at once. While firebending. He's that damn good :-p.
Re: The Last Airbender:The Legend of Korra
Panel at YouTube! (And the character art part, which the previous person didn't record.)
Also, another interview with the creators and some of the cast:

Honestly, if they realise they upset most people with their romance plots, then its fairly obvious that they can't do them well.
