...This might be just my retarded actual camera, but I keep taking better pictures on my DSi than on an actual camera... it looks crappy at first, but that's due to it resizing the photo preview to fit the DSi screen. *shrug*

I got the dsi as a birthday gift, I don't have either ds or ds lite... my only other gameboy system was sp and micro. I have to say I like the dsi alot. I think the camera is a lot of fun, and using the internet wherever is awesome. I do miss being able to play my gba games... but overall its pretty great. If you don't have one of the other ds's I would say get it. If you already have a ds lite or the phat then don't bother.

I've noticed that in recent advertisements, they don't use the suffix "Lite" anymore. Now the two models are simply DS and DSi. My poor fatty DS has been retconned...

No offense to anyone, but in my opinon, compared to the DSi, the DS Lite is a piece of crap now... I'll bet you in another month, they'll be selling them on clearence in GameStop for 40 dollars.

Yep. In a month, they'll be selling them at GAME for £40. But I miss playing my DS Lite.....though I play my DSi so much, I gave it a name. DSIvor.

Eh. The DSi is okay IMO. It's not really much of an improvement, but it's not worse in any way. There are little changes that made it better (bigger screens for example), but in the end it comes down to the software, not the hardware. There are some great DS games, but there aren't really that many good DSi-only games yet.

And besides DSiware games, you can't make a DSi only game can you? Unless it somehow is too powerful for a DS/DS Lite to run, which I serioulsy doubt or it needs an SD card to read data off, which i can;t see happening.

Well, my point is that the quality and the quanity of the software that the DSi 'unlocks' isn't high enough yet. Maybe in the future when we have more DSi-only games and more games that utilize extra content for the DSi, it'll be better.

I think there may be a few DSi only games but mainly i think that there will be DS games that can utilize the DSi features.
