Re: Halo vs Calll of Duty I've played both. But I'd say Halo is the better choice. The only complaint for Call of Duty is how repetitive the MP is. Unbalanced weapons and people camp because of the HORRIBLE map designs. Halo is known to be balanced in every aspect. If Infinity Ward and Treyarch can balance out the weapons then Its all good. Otherwise, I rather play BF3 than COD.

Sorry COD fans, I mean no disrespect, but COD sucks. Some guns are massive overpowered, hackers comprise a lot of the lobbies I end up it and the maps are extremely repetitive to the point where I can accurately predict what will happen where. Innovation is severely needed in COD MP for it to beat Halo.
Halo campaign is infinitely better anyway.
Re: Halo vs Calll of Duty I personally like COD more. I always felt that Halo was somewhat a rip-off of Metroid. After looking into it now, I know that it isn't, but still.
Re: Halo vs Calll of Duty Not really sure why people insist on comparing the two series when their themes and genres are very different. Halo is a space opera, whereas Call of Duty is a more traditional war story.
That said, if I were forced to choose, I'd say Halo.

Re: Halo vs Calll of Duty I can't say I'm a huge fan of either series, but from what I've played, I enjoyed Halo a lot more. I found the settings a lot more interesting than the generic ones of CoD (likewise with the weapons).

Re: Halo vs Calll of Duty After having beaten both sets of games out now, I definitely like CoD more. I can't stand playing Halo. I really don't get why, but I can't. Plus CoD4 and MW2 will always be my favorite MP games, while CoD4, MW2 and MW3 will be my favorite SP games shooter wise. With that being said, fuck Black Ops. I hate Failarch more than I do Halo.

Re: Halo vs Calll of Duty Halo has a fantastic story to go along with a great fps. Beats CoD easily IMO.
