Thread: Favorite game and series

Call me old fashioned, but Super Mario 64 will always and forever be my favorite video game.

Rune Factory: Fun combo of farming, and dungeon crawling. My fave game of the series is Rune Factory 3 even though it's short the characters are hilarious.

Catherine: Love the story, and the game play! It keeps you on the edge at all times really. <3

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Echoes of Time: Way too short! D: But the story is just tear jerking, and the gameplay is pretty straightforward.

Harvest Moon, A Wonderful Life: The very game that got me addicted to Harvest Moon and farming games. So it holds a special place for me.

Monster Rancher DS: This gives me nostalgia from my childhood. -w-

Bayonetta: I was obsessed for a good 2 months I think? Though the story's too short. Thank arceus for the Wii U and Bayonetta 2. <3

Sonic Adventure Battle 2: Treasure hunting with Rouge was a blast for me. I got all A's everywhere. xD

Uh Probably Pokémon Gold/ Heart Gold for favourite game. Favourite series is a tie between Pokémon and The Legend of Zelda.

I don't have a favorite video game, so I'll only write what are my favorite video game franchises as of this post; Pokémon and Kingdom Hearts.

One video game series that I enjoy is the MLB: The Show series by Sony. It is the greatest (if only) sport video game series I've ever played. With amazing graphics and equally amazing gameplay and realism, it is truly a series to love, while other sports series (such as Madden) are apparently getting more cartoonish graphics every year. This game even increased my interest in baseball.

Pokemon and Mario are the only series I play. (Pokemon is my favorite.)

My favorite Pokemon Game would have to be Emerald but, FireRed comes a close second.

My favorite Mario game is New Super Mario Bros. and second would have to be Super Mario World. (I getting annoyed that they keep releasing Mario games with New in front as it is almost the same as the last one.)

I am not a fan of Spin off games for either series or 3D Mario games such as SM64 or SMG. (The only platformer I dislike is SMB2.)

I would say the franchises I like the most and try to keep up with as much as possible are as follows:

-Ace Attorney (favourite game is T&T);
-Pokémon (Pokémon Sapphire is my favourite);
-Sly Cooper (I prefer Sly 3);
-The Sims (The Sims 2 is still the best, 3 has too many bugs even in comparison);
-Warcraft (I only played Warcraft III as far as the strategy ones go, though I hope to play the other two in the future. As for WoW, my favourite expansion pack was Wrath of the Lich King, however Mists of Pandaria might tie with it if I get to play more of it).

There are other games that mean a lot to me, and I suspect that I'll be falling for other franchises soon, but that's the current list. I can't name a favourite game overall, thankfully for me, as that means there are many great games for me out there!

I've been obsessed with FE ever since I first played it! I also love Zelda, Mario, and Smash Bros. Pokemon is fifth.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add Roller Coaster Tycoon to my list. I've loved it ever since I played the first one waaay back in the day. I hardly remember it, and I never got to play the second game, but RCT3 is by far my favorite simulation game! I love the controls, the music, the ride choices, and especially the expansion packs! I'm still trying to get the hang of RCT3D for the 3DS though. It works a little differently than what I'm used to in the computer game, so yeah. But I still like it a lot. A real story mode instead of the usual campaign mode is really fresh and interesting.
