    I've heard of a few:

Scooby-Doo does pot. He's always laughing and eating, his middle name is Dooby, and there's smoke coming from the fan every time it breaks down. So all of the times he explores haunted houses, solves mysteries, and catches criminals, it is all a result of hallucinations from the pot.

The kids from Codename: KND are trapped in an eternal childhood, which would explain a lot, including the lack of parents, the fact that they are fighting the evils of adulthood, and the fact that the 5 main characters get the first five positive numbers.

Finally, TDI is just the imagination of a psycopath, presumably the host. In his dreams he controls the people into doing stupid things, and one time he caused them all to die.

According to urban myth, the dwarves from Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarves are symbolic of the stages of cocaine addiction. According to Snopes, it isn't true but I could see why someone thought like that.

Do theories about animation studios count? Because I've heard this really dark one that Video Briquendo (or whatever it's called) is actually Pixar and is what Pixar does with its extra money.

I think that theory is that the Smurfs are a Marxist Utopia with a few characters being famous political figures. I've never heard of Papa Smurf being Stalin, in the theory I've heard he's Marx instead (which makes more sense) as he's not treated as being above the other Smurfs and is only important because of his wisdom. Like Marx, he also has a beard, plus he wears red.

The other stuff in the theory I've heard goes like this:
    - The Smurf Village is collectively owned by everyone
    - None of the Smurfs are above the others, they're all treated as being equally important regardless of their jobs, because they all contribute to keep the Village alive
    - Their food is stored in a communal area and is distributed equally
    - Gargamel is Capitalism, he's greedy and only cares about himself
    - Gargamel's cat represents the workers within Capitalism because he has no voice
    - Brainy Smurf is Trotsky (they do kind of look alike. Kind of.)

I've also heard a very different version of that theory, in which it's actually based on a Stalinist perspective. In that version Papa Smurf is still Marx, though. I can't remember lots of specifics but it was something about how Brainy Smurf is an intellectual and is looked down on for being a dissident and how the Smurfs don't have much room to try jobs other than those assigned to them.

I seem to remember that one or both theories had something about Smurfette, though I can't remember what it was.
