Thread: Best Zelda Game?

You know what, I think I'm going to rank the Zelda games I've played from my favorite to least favorite. :3

1. Skyward Sword
2. The Minish Cap
3. Twilight Princess
4. Four Swords Adventures
5. A Link to the Past
6. Ocarina of Time (3D)
7. Spirit Tracks
8. Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages
9. Phantom Hourglass
10. Majora's Mask
11. The Wind Waker

I've also played Link's Awakening, but barely, so I'm really in no position to list it. xP Sorry to you TWW and MM lovers out there. I honestly hated these games for the most part. PH, I at least enjoyed up until that damned Temple of the Ocean King.

My Favorite has to be Wind Waker,
wonderful music, good plot, well thought out puzzles, a few laughs, great atmosphere, beautiful graphics lost to do after the game is beat.

I really like all of them and don't really hate any of them,so most of them are very close, the one that hasn't been listed i hasn't played.

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

I'm gonna go ahead and say Skyward Sword for a few reasons
-Wonderful visuals
-Great control scheme
-Great story
-That emotional cutscene after you go through the Gate of Time accompanied by the most beautiful rendition of Zelda's Lullaby.
-Great characters(GROOSE!!!!)
-Outstanding dungeon designs and puzzles
-Great music
-Great upgrading system
-Lastly...This guy

The Demon Lord of Fabulousity: Lord Ghirahim aka Debbie the Fabulous

-Wind Waker
-Skyward Sword
-Majora's Mask
-Ocarina of Time
-Twilight Princess
-Link to the Past
-Phantom Hourglass
-Spirit Tracks

Those are the ones I've played. In order of how much I liked them.

I approve of Ghirahim and Groose as well.

And of course everything else.

Predictable but i'm gonna say Ocarina of Time. The 3DS version is the best game available for the console.

Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask are tied for 1st IMO. Twilight Princess for the dungeon design and story, Majora's Mask for the dark atmosphere, the soundtrack, and the symbolism. Worst is Skyward Sword. fite me

Personal fave - Majora's Mask.

I'd say OoT is the best. Only Zelda game I've managed to beat.

Majora's Mask and Wind Waker are my favorites. Oh, and Links Awakening.

No. If you see the list I posted over a year ago (someone totally revived a really old thread. >.>), you'll notice TWW is my least favorite Zelda. I hated it. So I was not pleased with this announcement. ALttP remake would make me happiest right now in terms of remakes.

Oh, that comes as a slight surprise. I think Nintendo are discussing a Link to the Past remake, but I'm quite sure they're releasing it on 3DS as a 3D Classic or Virtual Console.
I have to admit, A Link to the Past is rather good.

"Rather good"? ALttP is amazing, imo. Not just "rather good." :P

And it deserves a full remake. All it's ever gotten is a port with a bonus dungeon added (the Four Sword Shrine).
