All moves that change the level of a stat change it as half as much as usual. If you have a decimal stat boost, it counts as though it is rounded down (towards 0). So +0.5 Atk counts as +0, and +1.5 Atk counts as 1. -0.5 Def counts as +0 Def. Simple doubles these values before being rounded.
There are three zones: A, B, and C. You decide which zone you want to start at.
Physical attacks do x1.3 as much damage going from A to B, B to C, or C to A.
Special attacks do x1.3 as much damage going from A to C, B to A, and C to A.
Attacking another Pokemon in the same zone has no increased damage through this rule.
You can switch what zone you are in by sending it with your move. Switching zones happens at the end of the turn.
You can lay Stealth Rock, Spikes, and Toxic Spikes in any zone you want. Their effects will activate on a Pokemon when someone switches into that zone. All attacks that involve switching or making the opponent switch do not do anything except damage (or nothing) for simplicity. Switching zones does not remove any effects on your Pokemon.
You can also send a buzzword. You can not send a buzzword and switch zones in the same turn. The buzzword must be the name of a Pokemon item. If 3 or more people are in the same zone, and they send the same buzzword, then each person gets +0.5 stat boost to distribute for each person that participated. These stat boosts are hidden. However, a person in the same zone may interupt a group's attempt at using a buzzword simply by sending a different buzzword. If he/she is the only person interupting, that person snatches all of their stat boosts. Again, these stat boosts are hidden. You can only buzzword with people in the same zone, and you can only interupt people in the same zone.
If you are awarded stat boosts, you will be notified. You must decide how you want to apply them before the next turn stats. Psych Up does not copy hidden stat boosts. You can not increase evasion with these stat boosts.
Examples:
5 people in zone A send the buzzword Full Restore. They each get +2.5 stat boosts.
5 people in zone A send the buzzword Full Restore. 1 other person in zone A sends Great Ball. That 1 person gets +12.5 stat boosts.
5 people in zone A send the buzzword Full Restore. 1 other perosn in zone A sends Great Ball. 1 other person sends Super Rod. Nobody gets any stat boosts.
5 people in zone A send the buzzword Full Restore. 3 people in zone A send Great Ball. Nobody gets any stat boosts.
