Dianne took her place on the playing field, tossing a Pokeball idly from hand to hand. She wasn't much of a juggler-- she managed to drop the sphere on the third of fourth toss. As the Pokeball fell toward the ground, the Shellder inside escaped in time to avoid feeling the impact. She looked at her trainer expectantly.

Dianne groaned. "That's gotta be the lamest entrance I've ever seen. Get something better next time, Aurora."

The Shellder ignored Dianne; if she couldn't figure out how to properly throw a Pokeball, Aurora wasn't going to bother making a flashy entrance.

Aurora: Shellder, F, Skill Link

"Let's go, Knight!" I called out. A Gastly formed from its Pokéball.

"Start off with Ice Beam!" Dianne ordered. Crystals of ice began to form in front of Aurora, before shooting toward the Gastly.

"Don't give in to it, Aurora! Hang in there!" Dianne called, appalled by how much one attack had affected her Shellder. Dianne doubted that Aurora would be able to land even one more hit before she would be unable to battle. "Use Ice Shard-- don't let Knight escape without a fight!"

Ice Shard, Shadow Ball KOs.
