Jathan walked onto the field. He unclipped a PokeBall from his bracer, staring at it. Within was a fresh new Pokemon from the PokeMart. This would be its first battle.

He rubbed the ball, and then threw it into the air. Red light flashed across the stadium, revealing a small purple and blue bat.

EDIT: Apparently this battle isn't happening. So it's canceled, I guess.
