Ace hadn't had a double battle on these fields for ages, and walked slowly onto the pitch. He pulled two PokeBall's out and examined the bare concrete carfully. Hopefully, he had made the right decisions.
"Blackgold and Draconia, here we go!" He yelled. As the two PokeBalls burst open, there was a flash of stars surrounding both Pokemon: his golden Charmeleon and light blue and yellow Gible landed on the field. It was Draconia, his Gible's, first battle, and the dragon type danced excitedly, ready to battle. Blackgold, the Charmeleon, on the other hand had suffered quite a few losses, and was ready to fully prove himself.
"Good luck boys." Ace called, and he waited for Eric to arrive.

Ace looked around the field, and saw Honchkrow flying above them, and a cute little Eevee sitting on the ground. Then, Eric shouted his commands, and both of his Pokemon charged towards Blackgold.
"Don't let them hurt you!" Ace yelled. "Honchkrow will be a bigger threat, so both of you use Flamethrower on him!" The two Pokemon nodded, and they both fired jets of flame towards the bird.

A disembodied voice rang out over the concrete battle field, "And the battle is underway." The Charmeleon planted its feet firmly on the ground and, as leaned back to take a large breath of air, shot forth as a jet of fire roared of of its mouth at the Honchkrow over head. Soon, small plums of black smoke rolled of of the Honchkrow's tail feathers.

In an act of retaliation, Honchkrow shot down, ripping a hole in the fabric of time, opening a hole to the next night, and attacked Charmeleon with the time distorted riffed.

Just as Charmeleon was recovering from the slashes that the time riffed caused, the Eevee lunged forward, taking Charmeleon down to its knees.

Not going to let its friend be beating like that, Gible turned its large mouth skywards and, in the same fashion that Charmeleon did, released a blazing inferno at Honchkrow.

Furious that he had had his tail feathers singed, Honchkrow drove straight down, pulling out a bag of lolipops from nowhere and Punching Charmeleon with them before he had a chance to attack.

Being diabetic, the super sugar coated attack was too much for him, and he passed out from the shock.

Taking the chance, Eevee once more charged and rammed his small frame at his opponent, only this time, he took on something a bit more his size: Gible.

Gible, like any sane creature would do when attacked violently by a creature smaller than itself, turned to the flying bird and tried to light it on fire. Gible, though, succeeded, igniting Honchkrow and making him take an emergency crash landing.

Eeevee stood there with a headache from all the ramming, Gible stood there, hoping he could take on two where his companion had fallen with a sugary demise, and Honchkrow tried desperately to put out the fire on himself.

Ace sadly brought Blackgold back, who had been having a lot of issues in the battle department. But he turned towards Draconia, who was ready to fight.
"Draconia, we must bring that oversized bird down! Use Flamethrower!" He commanded.

Honchkrow hit it with a Sucker Punch, and Eevee follow up by hitting it with a Take Down
