OOC: It's okay. I wouldn't call it fail rangering though, many were confused.
BIC:So Cacnea was quick to catch onto the fact of battling it quickly. There were a couple differences that made this a lot unlike like last time though. The terrain was one major aspect. Last time, it was the sand the fight took place on. Now it was just a 'regular' old playing field.
Maybe I could cut this quick, cutting to the chase by instantly throwing the Park Ball. Maybe I could extend this a large amount of time, by actually battling. Each way had its pros and cons, and I had to be prepared for every situation regardless.
Personally, I would like to simply cut to the chase. Thing is though, a side also wanted to continue the adventure. You know, let the dream live. How my own self could have conflicting opinions on a simple battle, I could not comprehend. I had to get through it though and reach a consensus within myself, as weird as that sounds.
If I did decide to battle, I would have to be careful, as like I said earlier, I'm fond of the cactus creature, and Torterra is as well. If I mess this up, a long time later I'd probably remember and feel bad. It's seriously true, no matter how childish it sounds as well.
Hm, maybe I'll battle it. Cutting right to the chase simply isn't me, and I can't just randomly change during this.
Taking out the simple ball, I soon threw it out, finally showing Torterra.
"Okay Torterra," I said, wanting to explain what situation we're in, "we're battling Cacnea again. You're here again to give Sudowoodo a chance to breathe from that fight with Linoone. Let's begin with a simple Absorb on the ground under Cacnea. It's the same technique we used back at the last battle. Be careful though, the ground is a bit tougher."
Somewhere in my mind, I felt that Torterra wouldn't use an old trick, even in a new environment. However, in other places, I felt like it would follow me just fine.
