Taither quickly uttered a few words of praise and encouragement to his partner, before retrieving a Parkball. He calmly tossed it at the weary and very much weakened wild entity. The sphere found its way through the air, landing on the target's armor body. A flood of red light surrounded the creature, sucking it into the orb-shaped capsule. It snapped shut, landing on the ground in front of Swampert. It shook and stirred as the Aron used the last of his strength to try and break free. There wasn't much hope for him now, though, and at last, he gave in. However hungry he might've been earlier before the encounter, he succumbed to his enemy. He was now captured.
I walked over to get the ball, carefully placing it in my brown messenger bag. "Hey, congrats!" I called to the trainer. I smiled at the Pokemon, who now looked tired from the combat. The rush of battle was leaving him, replaced by weariness and pain.
"A'ight then, rest up for now - it looks like you and Swampert need it. That Aron put up quite a fight, huh?" I told them with a slight chuckle. "When you're ready, we'll continue onwards through this tunnel. If I remember correctly, there might be another fork in the road somewhere up ahead."
<Do you think we'll enounter more of these Rock-types or Ground-types?> Archer asked me through telepathy.
I was surprised at this question, but I answered him honestly nonetheless. {To be completely honest with you, I have no idea. We might encounter some Fire-types later on as we traverse deeper into Mount Deckbi. Why?} I replied, shooting back another question at him.
He shrugged, somewhat dismissively. <I just want to see a bit more action. It seems, to me, that this trainer could spur a few more interesting battles for me - er, us - to watch. Plus, seeing a couple more Rock-types go down would be nice and cool.>
I nodded, understanding his enthusiasm for battle. He didn't quite like Rock-types that much, I guessed based on what he had just said. I made a mental note of this in my head - he probably wouldn't be pleased if I were to bring him to Deckbi again, if ever I'd be going on a run through here.
The Gallade interrupted my thoughts, as of he had read my mind - come to think of it, maybe he did. <It's not that I don't want to battle them, mind you. It's just that I, personally, don't like them. In fact, I'd even be glad if you sent me out to battle them. After all, their moves aren't very effective against me.>

I turned my attention to Taither and his Pokemon, checking on them...
