It was a very stormy day around Mt. Oktori. Ranger Eli was dragging himself towards the mountain with his friend Esteban the Gallade helping him along. The strong winds seemed to be slowing down a bit, although they were still strong. Right behind him was a trainer, although scrawny, for some reason, he seemed to be doing better under this blizzard, although it could be Eli's imagination.

Ranger Eli turned around and said, "Alright Mr. Hotske, welcome to Mt. Oktori. The weather seems to be slowing down, so I think we'll be able to make the expedition after all."

Senzura felt surprisingly well off in the icy mountain. Everytime he felt cold, he imagined himself back at Lavaridge, his home, laying down in a nice warm sand bath. He imagined the hot sand melting the ice all around him away. Although, this fantasy could'nt last very long. As soon as he opened his eyes, the icy mountain air swept right back to him. Ignoring it though, he just thought of his upcoming adventure.

"How you farin' Rabadash?", he asked the large fire pokemon.

The Combusken cupped his claws at his face, and blew out an ember of flames. He let the warm fire spread out across his entire orange and yellow body. Obviouly, the weather did nothing to bhinder Combusken.

"Com-bust!" replied Rabadash.

"Oh, thats just not fair!" yelled Senzura, "You be happy you got those flames!"

Senzura looked back at his guide Eli.

"So what you got mind anyway? Well what?!"

It was not very secret that Senzura was not as mature as a normal 15 year old.

Ranger Eli tried to grin a bit as he responded, "Well, this is the mountain. It's my job to make sure you get through safely and to take you where you want to go. So you can explore around the mountain, go check one of the many caves, or follow that path up the mountain. Pokemon will usually hide from us so we have to go to them."

Ranger Eli kept on walking until they were finally at the start of the path he mentioned. There were still a few frosty bushes around, the path ahead, and even a cave a few yards further up the mountain.

"So, what will it be?" said the Ranger, oddly with a joyous voice. This was actually the Ranger's favorite location.

OOC: It's true, this is my favorite location. = )

Senzura was immature, but still liked to plan his adventures. as he surveyed the mountain, he chose the route that would let him see all the mountain had to offer. As a native to Lavaridge, the only mountain he ever got to see was the inside of a volcano.

"Well if those our my choices," he started, "Then I say we start with the least dangerous and work our way up. Let start by investigating those frozen bushes..." started Senzura as he pointed toward the bushes then worked his way up "..then we should investigate those caves. I bet we could find quite a few interesting things there! Finnaly, if we have enough energy, we should make our way to the top of the mountain."

Eli nodded as he did think that was a good plan. They quickly headed towards the nearby bushes. Some of them seemed dead and frozen solid while others were clearly alive but just covered in snow. Trying to help, Ranger Eli pushed one of the round bushes and it started to move. Not only did it start to shake, but the bush itself seemed to have stood up and began moving away slowly. Ranger Eli didn't know of a round tree Pokemon, so he took a few steps towards the moving tree and suddenly the snow covering the tree fell off revealing a Pokemon inside of it.

It was a Delibird, and it had been carrying that small bush around for some reason. As the Delibird realized the snow cover was one, it just stared at the group as it kept walking away while still holding the tree, as if pretending that it had not been spotted yet.

Senzura looked at the strange pokemon carrying the bush.

"Eh, I say we let let it be. There are much bigger fish to fry" said the teenager somwhat egotisticly.
Delibirds were an inside joke at the pokemon school. The instructor would sometimes call them the most useless poekon on the face of this planet.

"Let have its bush" Senzura said, as he continued to look around the absolutly frozen landscape.


OOC: BTW Combusken is a Blaziken now, but I assume we just keep RPing with him though

The Delibird slowly kept taking single steps away from the group while Senzura kept looking around. Soon after, he ran into what looked like a pile of snow with a Tyrogue's head sticking out from one side. It didn't seem to be moving although it was clearly breathing.

Ranger Eli watched in silence to see what Senzura's decision would be while the previous Delibird was still slowly moving away.

Combusken quickly noticed the Tyrouge's head sticking out of the frozen bundle of leaves.

"Com-Com!" Rabadash said eagery

"Ahhhh yah, now this is more like it!" replied Senzura when he saw his pokemon pointing at the short little Tyrouge.

"Okey Rabadash, try for this one! Quick, surprise him with a double-kick!"

Rabadash, hearing his call, can fast along the frozen road, rushing at the half buried pokemon, leaving claw prints in the white powdery snow as he ran. He redied for a strick.

OOC: That isn't God-modding is it?

Combusken came closer and closer to his target, and just when it was about to land the first kick, Tyrogue sprung up out of the snow. As it did, Tyrogue used its knee to hit Combusken on his stomach. Combusken was shocked rather than surprised. He took a few steps back and just stood there.

Ranger Eli nodded and said to himself, "A Fake Out. I should have known."

Tyrogue jumped a few steps back to create some distance. It looked rather worried about the situation.

Senzura stood there worried. It may not seem like a bad situation, but those fake outs could really add up! Senzura decided a combo attack to try and hit it first would help.

"Quick, Rabadash, hit'em with a quick attack, then quickly follow up with a double kick!"

Rabadash, bent down his knees, and lunged forward with all his might, kicking up snow into Senzura's cold blue face.

Senzura looked at the lone Tyrouge just sitting there in the snow, hoping the little bugger would'nt try and pull the same trick twise. Senzura, despite the cold, began to sweat in anxiety.

OOC: female please. I read in another Pe2k RP that we can have 2 actions per post, just making sure that right.

Tyrogue practically freaked out as she saw Combusken coming her way again. Several spheres of energy suddenly appeared around Tyrogue and merged into a beam that headed straight for Combusken. However, the rash Pokemon didn't care. He just kept running into and right through the attack with speed and once on the other side, he began sliding forward. Tyrogue tried shielding herself with her arm, that didn't stop Rabadash. He kicked Tyrogue upwards then sideways making her land near the wall of the mountain, right at the base of the path.

Tyrogue seemed hurt, but at the same time, Rabadash had also taken some damage.

OOC: Yeah, you can, even more if you can, but, remember that your Pokemon might get confused with too many commands, especially if the moves are complicated. However, it's better if you make combos and get creative with your moves rather than just announce one move next to another. Still, Rash Pokemon can be very hard headed.

"Thats right Rabadash, keep it going!" Senzura replied, jumping up it down in the snow. Senzura was get overjoyed that the battle was starting to go his way. The cold was beginning to melt under Senzura and Rabadash's burning spirit.

"Okey Rabadash, lets show this Tyrouge we mean buisness! Hit him hard from the side with a slash!"

Rabadash, hearing the command, nodded. The claws jutting from Rabadash's furry yellow arm began to glow white as the Combusken lifted up his arms. Holding his elbow back, and bent down, ready for the strike. With a great burst of energy, Rabadash leaped forward over the white mountain road, heading straight for the Tyrouge, once again kicking up snow into Senzura's face.


Senzura hoped that Rabadash rememberd to hit from the side. He didn't want Tyrouge to hit with whatever attack the pokemon was attempting before. Rabadash was a great friend, but sometimes could be a little stubborn.

OOC: Yah, thats why I chose Rash, to fit Senzura's personality.

Tyrogue was looking really uncomfortable. As Combusken rushed towards Tyrogue with his glowing claws, Tyrogue took a step back to run, but she found herself against a wall. She started giving out a few tears, immediately followed by a glare towards Rabadash. The Tyrogue began glowing slightly as she ran towards the incoming attack and jumped to ram her target. At that moment, Rabadash slashed his claws towards Tyrogue, but it didn't seem to have done anything. Tyrogue kept going forward and hit Rabadash hard. At that moment, something unexpected happened. As Tyrogue made contact, Rabadash stopped moving for a second as he became encased in ice.

Tyrogue turned around and tried to run away, but it soon became clear, in reality, that Slash attack had done a lot of damage. Tyrogue was holding onto her side and limping a bit.

OOC: In case you are curious, that attack Tyrogue used last time was Hidden Power. The one she used this time, Secret Power.

Senzura looked at the frozen Rabadash. He could try and help him, but the Tyrouge was getting away!

In a quick burst of wit, he decided on a plan. Senzura reached behind him, where 6 balls where nessled snugly on his belt. he yanked a super ball out, and pressed the button in the center. The Pokeball began to enlarge, as Senzura firmly grassped it. In typical Senzura showboating style, he grabbed the ball with his palm on the top. Lifting up his leg, he lunged forward and tossed the ball at the limping Tyrouge.

Rather than wait for the ball to capture Tyrouge, he quickly ran over to the mountain wall where his combusken was incased in ice.

"Don't worry buddy, I got yah" Senzura said, as he took a full heal out of his side bag and sprayed it on Rabadash. As he was healing Combusken, he looked to see if he had been succsessful in his capture.

The Superball had hit Tyrogue. The Pokemon was forced into the ball which fell on the floor and began to shake. As the ball shook, the Full Heal took effect and the ice around Combusken began to melt. At that moment, the weather settled down.

However, when Combusken was finally free, the ball opened and Tyrogue was now out of the ball. Although not captured, Tyrogue knew it still had to battle. It looked back to see if there was any easy way out, but, it was obviously not going to be able to outrun Combusken, so Tyrogue just took a few steps towards Combusken and suddenly, 11 Tyrogue copies appeared. They all circled around Combusken, preparing themselves to attack.
