Re: -|Individual RP: Caioo|-
[I lost the original post to the dreaded BMG-Log Off, and this is my attempted redo post]
Keiru growled in frustration, staring at the Magneton as it broke free of the flames, and unleashed a powerful Zap Cannon attack, which split the air as it zoomed towards Fury. Keiru glanced at Chainy, then back at the Magneton, frowning, deep in turmoil over his decision, but he turned to Chainy.
"Do you think I can try and escape this?" Keiru asked. "I so want a Magneton, but this is taking time, and I don't know whether Fury can manage to sustain much more damage this early on into the Park."
Keiru looked longfully at the Magneton, wishing he didn't have to make a run for it now, but honestly, he didn't want to take too long in a battle, and then there was the fact that the Magneton had been hit hard early on, and was a tad weak, and adding in the factors of Fury's powerups. Keiru pondered over for several moments, wondering if his decision was right. The Magneton was definitely a wonderful Pokemon. And it had proven it was powerful. What were the chances of him finding another Magneton this powerful, probably next to none. Keiru looked back at Chainy.
"Actually, I won't run." Keiru stated, smiling once more, and turned back to look at the Magneton. "Fury, focus now! Channel your power into a Flare Blitz and target the Zap Cannon! I know you can do it Fury!!"
Keiru's smile was back, filling his face, as thoughts zoomed through his mind, plans forming within moments. He was going to definitely enjoy his time in the Park, no matter the time it took him. He had paid to get in, so why would he want to rush out so quickly. At least enjoy the Park for a while. Keiru sighed, wondering what Pokemon he would want. Of course, the Magneton in front of him he definitely wanted, but then there were so many other good choices as well. He considered a Rotom, but they were powerful, and rare, and very, very hard to capture. Then there was the sludge Pokemon called Grimer, now that was a Pokemon, but Keiru didn't want to run the risks of his Pokemon becoming poisoned, as he hadn't brought anything to remove status ailments.
Keiru considered a Pikachu, nodding at the thought. Pikachus were powerful, energetic, and highly sought after, and were extremely cute and amazing. Then there were Shinx. Keiru liked Shinx, and their evolutions rocked. He most certainly wanted a Shinx. Finally, there was a Voltorb, a powerful, Pokeball-like Pokemon that could often be mistaken for a Pokeball. Voltorbs were extremely volatile Pokemon, and were devastating Pokemon, and he would be extremely honored if he managed to find one, and would definitely want it. He nodded, smiling. Definitely Voltorb.
"Fury, focus a stream of fiery, intense flames at the Magneton with a Flamethrower attack!" Keiru shouted, requesting that Fury do so. "But don't go overboard and take the Magneton out, he's a friendly Pokemon after all."
Keiru closed his eyes, breathing deeply, focusing entirely upon the battle. He needed to remain calm, and place all his thoughts on the battle between the magnet Pokemon and Fury. This battle would require one hundred and ten percent co-ordination with Fury, and he knew that to do so, he would need to be focused. Keiru ndoded to himself, opening his eyes, a grin slathered on his face as he studied the magnet Pokemon. It was quite a gleaming Pokemon, made up of three Magnemites, and it was incredibly powerful. The sight of it was amazing, majestic and graceful, and Keiru knew that this particular Magneton would be an amazing addition to his team if he managed to capture it. He wanted to capture it, no, he needed to capture it. Keiru sighed, deep in thought, his mind racing to formulate a back-up plan against the Magneton, as it seemed it could counter everything thrown at it, such as the flames surrounding it, had been decimated quite quickly.
Keiru scanned the surroundings, focusing entirely on coming up with the back-up plan, his grin widening as a potential plan began to form within his mind, and he nodded to himself, a small laugh escaping him. Yes, that would definitely be a good plan, and Keiru hoped it would work. Keiru looked at Fury, the start of its counter attack against the Zap Cannon having already begun to surface, first glowing a pale orange colour, before turning into a blazing ruby red colour, but this wasn't actually the attack, this was the aura resounding around Fury due to the energy from the build-up of the Flare Blitz. The blitz was a far more intense, more powerful, hard to control, move, but Keiru had trained fiercly to get Fury to master the move, and he hoped all that training would pay off here as he now glanced at the Magneton, a grin on his face, waiting to see what would happen.
Keiru tapped his thigh softly, which is what he usually did when extremely nervous, of which he had now become, wondering what would happen if everything backfired, and Fury was Knocked Out, or what if the Magneton got hurt, or what if he damaged the plant due to the Flare Blitz. Worry filled him as he imagined himself being escorted from the Park, which he honestly did not want to happen at all. He enjoyed the sights of the Park, they were truthfully breathtaking, and he wanted to remain in the Park and enjoy it in its fullness. But, what if he damaged the plant. This thought plagued Keiru's mind, and the thought nagged at him, his hand holding the small coin tightening, the coin digging into his palm.
The small jolt of pain from the coin snapped him out of his worry, and a faint smile broke onto his face as he dismissed the thoughts, entirely focused on the battle now. He had a time to worry about the future events when they happened. For now, he needed to focus on the here and now, and help his buddy, Fury. Keiru's smile grew larger as he cleared his throat, looking at the Magneton with a deep interest, studying it heavily, watching its every move. The gracefulness of which the Magneton floated above the ground was mesmerizing, and the glow emanating from the magnet Pokemon's body was blazing, quite breathtaking in appearance.

"Do you think I can try and escape this?" Keiru asked me as the Magneton began to launch its attack. "I so want a Magneton, but this is taking time, and I don't know whether Fury can manage to sustain much more damage this early on into the Park."
"That's a fair point," I said. "You could probably return Fury to his Poke Ball, but that'd be like conceding the battle. But whether the Magneton lets you on your way would be something different altogether."
Keiru considered it, staring at the Magneton as the torrent of electricity shot towards Fury. I was about to bump him gently along when he suddenly smiled. "Actually, I won't run." Keiru said, smiling once more. "Fury, focus now! Channel your power into a Flare Blitz and target the Zap Cannon! I know you can do it Fury!"
Fury began glowing a pinkish colour all around himself, and the pink turned into a bright red. He jumped directly towards the incoming Zap Cannon, looking like a meteorite complete with flaming tail. I thought it was a suicidal move. As it turns out, I was wrong.
The fire-covered Infernape cut through the Zap Cannon like a knife through butter. The electricity passed to both sides harmlessly. However, as fury traveled through the stream of raw power, the fire surrounding him was chipped away. When he was three quarters of the way through the Zap Cannon, his fire finally gave out entirely. Fury was pushed to the ground by the Zap Cannon, but he had avoided most of the damage promised by the powerful attack. I looked at him through my lens and I was surprised to see that he wasn't paralyzed.
"Fury, focus a stream of fiery, intense flames at the Magneton with a Flamethrower attack!" Keiru shouted to Fury. "But don't go overboard and take the Magneton out, he's a friendly Pokemon after all."
Keiru was apparently trying to keep Fury's momentum rolling. Fury got to his feet and blew a fiery breath at the Magneton. The attack was more hot air than fire, and that was good because Fury's boosted Special Attack could probably easily take out the Magneton at this point. The air knocked the Magneton backwards, doing damage to it. I noticed a few dents and weakened points on the Magneton's body, but it wasn't finished yet. It started making a resonating sound, attempting to confuse Fury. It also could work on Trainers, disorienting them if they weren't careful. Luckily, my earpieces would shield out the sound. I waited to see how Keiru would counter the Magneton's latest strategy.

Re: -|Individual RP: Caioo|-
Keiru watched as Fury cut through the Zap Cannon, getting hit by the last quarter of it, and landed on the ground, surprisingly without being paralyzed. A smile grew on Keiru's face as he gazed at the powerful, yet serene, Magneton, which floated elegantly in the air. The hot air slammed out of Fury, crashing into Magneton, and Keiru could see the dents in its body from the battle. A sorrowful look rose on Keiru's face at the sight of the injurym and he couldn't help but feel sorry for injuring the Magneton, but hopefully, this battle would be over quickly, and then he could keep the Magneton safe, as well as allow Fury to recuperate.
Keiru's eyes narrowed, focusing on a small fissure in the Magneton, a possible weak point perhaps. A grin surfaced on Keiru's features, nodding to himself, deciding on an ultimate plan. It was about time he attempted to capture the Magneton, but first, he would need to counter its attacks, and then damage it enough so that the catch rate would be easy, and hopefully, have no chance of failing. Keiru flexed his hands, breathing deeply as he studied the Magneton, nodding while he studied the magnet Pokemon. Fury remained vigilant, waiting for Keiru to give it a command, the Supersonic approaching. Keiru burst out laughing now, fully happy, energetic, and totally boisterous.
"Hey, Fury, use a Flame Wheel to cover yourself in an impentrable swirl of flames!" Keiru shouted, Fury screeching back at him in response.
Fury leaped into action, spinning quickly, as a swirl of flames engulfed it, the flames bursting with energy, Keiru smiling as he watched his Infernape spin around inside the wheel of flsmes, the flames licking at the air, toying with it. Keiru's mind drifted slightly, remembering when he had first got his Infernape. Keiru smiled as he remembered what happened. He was walking to the Pokemon lab, when out of nowhere a Houndoom had come blundering through the bushes after a man in a white labcoat, the man accidentally dropping his bag. Keiru had grabbed the bag, the Pokeball containing Fury falling out, and Keiru had rescued the man, who offered him the Infernape in thanks.
Keiru's hand flexed over his waist, hovering momentarily over a Parkball, before he shook his head, turning his attention back tot he Flame Wheel, mesmerized by the intensity of the flames, and hoping that the flames would protect Fury from the Supersonic. Keiru tapped on one of the Parkballs, wondering what the next move should be, smiling as fond memories of all the hardships he and Fury had been through, a chuckle escaping Keiru. He remembered finding a little Poochyena several years baco, his fist proper Pokemon battle, his first capture. The memories brought a grin to Keiru's face as he took on a more serious attitude.
Keiru let out a deep sigh, noticing that Fury was still awaiting a command for after the Supersonic hit, and Keiru decided he needed to give the command rather rapidly, before the Supersonic hit, rather than after it. He nodded to himself, tightening his fists as he stared at the Magneton, his voice booming in the near silent hallways.
"Fury, once that Supersonic attack hits, I want you to send in another Scratch attack!" Keiru requested, hoping Fury would agree to this. "And then follow that up with a small Ember attack, I know you can do it, Fury!"
Keiru heard a screech come in reply from the Infernape, and laughed softly to himself, breathing out a deep sigh as he contemplated his next form of plan. If Fury managed to get through the Supersonic attack, and pull off the Scratch and Ember attacks, then the magnet Pokemon would quite probably be weakened enough to be captured. Several moments passed as Keiru contemplated this to himself, shrugging his shoulders, and mentally rolling his eyes at himself.
Keiru closed his eyes, focusing himself. He definitely needed to stop losing focus so often, and just stay focused entirely on the battle going on before him. He mentally agreed with this, however, he still physically ignored himself, still stuck somewhat in a daydream. A long, drawn-out sigh escaped Keiru, before he nodded to himself, pulling a Parkball off of his belt, and studying the Parkball with intent. The sphere was rather complicated and majestic, quite amazing in how it operated, with ID code and everything that could stop it being stolen by poachers.
Keiru rolled the Parkball around on the palm of his hand, glancing calmly at the Magneton, which was floating in the air, tempted to just throw the Parkball now, but decided against it, knowing it would be quite foolhardy to rush headlong in and try and capture the Magneton, deciding it would be more strategical to wait for the attacks to be unleashed. Keiru surveyed the surroundings, taking in the hallway, a smile obvious on his face as he observed the scenery, nodding to himself, before his voice broke the somewhat inconsiderate silence.
"Fury, I know you can do this, buddy!" Keiru shouted, supporting his Infernape. "You're the best Pokemon I know, and you're my most treasured companion! You can do it, I know you can!"
Keiru hesistated for several moments, watching the Supersonic attack, before breathing deeply, and breathed out rapidly, his chest lowering within seconds. A smile crept upon Keiru's face as he twirled the Parkball in his hands, glancing at the Magneton, nodding. It was time, he had waited long enough, and the strategical juncture was now. With a swift movement, Keiru threw the Parkball into the air, the arc of it carrying it high into the air, just below the ceiling, and would hit the Magneton after tha attacks were launched, the timing hopefully correct, by Keiru's calculations he would be on time for the arc to hit the target after the attacks, and thus provide him with more of a chance of capturing the Magneton.
Keiru watched the arc of the Parkball, as it span majestically in the air, a smile on his face as he watched it, his gaze following it. The sun was quite remarkable up in the sky, and the sunlight bounced off the Parkball, creating a spectacular sight as the Parkball travelled through the air along its arc, towards its target, the large magnet Pokemon, Magneton.

"Hey, Fury, use a Flame Wheel to cover yourself in an impenetrable swirl of flames!" Keiru called out.
Fury grunted and swirled his arms around, creating a protective tornado of fire that was similar to the Fire Spin he had used to trap the Magneton earlier. Apparently Keiru was hoping that the flames would shield Fury from the Supersonic attack.
"Fury, once that Supersonic attack hits, I want you to send in another Scratch attack!" Keiru ordered. "And then follow that up with a small Ember attack, I know you can do it, Fury!"
Unfortunately for Keiru, the flames didn't hinder the supersonic waves. The strange echoing sounds moved through the fire and started confusing Fury. He lashed out at the invisible sounds and became more frustrated as they continued.
"Fury, I know you can do this, buddy!" Keiru shouted, supporting his Infernape. "You're the best Pokemon I know, and you're my most treasured companion! You can do it, I know you can!"
Fury calmed down, taking stock of his situation. He realised that he had probably been hit by the Supersonic attack, so he killed the Flame Wheel. He also saw the Magneton twenty metres away. He couldn't concentrate on it, but he ran towards it anyway. The Magneton was like a floating grey blob in Fury's vision, but he was determined not to let his Trainer down. He blew a small breath over his hands, using his Ember attack to light them on fire. He then slashed at the Magneton, trying his best to hit it.
He did. The Magneton was knocked to the ground by the power behind Fury's swipe. Fury then collapsed on the ground, his energy mostly used up.
Keiru threw a Park Ball at the Magneton. The ball tapped the Magneton's dented body, and it was converted into red light. The ball wiggled as the Magneton fought the ball's capture mechanism.
The ball stilled. Keiru had successfully captured the Magneton.
"Congratulations," I said to him as I walked over to the ball and picked it up, stowing it in my pack.

Keiru mentally cheered as the Parkball stilled, a small click rising into the air signalling the successful capture. Keiru instantly moved forward, to kneel down alongside Fury, patting the Infernape softly on the back, a deep smile on Keiru's face. Fury turned his head to look at Keiru, screeching softly, to which Keiru nodded, still smiling at the Infernape.
"You did well buddy." Keiru smiled. "I knew you could do it."
Fury screeched in reply, and Keiru chuckled slightly, raising his Pokeball that was 'home' to Fury, and pressed it softly onto the side of Fury, the red beam shooting out, and sucking the Infernape back into the Pokeball.
"Rest easy now." Keiru sighed, placing the Pokeball back upon his belt, and he looked up at Chainy. "Thanks, though it was down to Fury for actually being successful in the capture. He's a good Pokemon, and he definitely derserves a rest, as does that Magneton."
Keiru's features had changed dramatically, he was now a happy person, his features contorted into a smile as he stood up, beaming at Chainy.
"So, you ready to continue then?" Keiru asked, grinning. "I'm eager to see the sights, meet the Pokemon, enjoy the scene."

Keiru returned his Infernape to its Poke Ball, praising him as he did so. I smiled. It was very important to praise one's Pokemon for a job well done. Once Keiru had finished doing that, he turned to me, grinning.
"It was down to Fury for actually being successful in the capture. He's a good Pokemon, and he definitely deserves a rest, as does that Magneton," he said to me.
"Yeah," I agreed, "I'll hold onto the Magneton for now just in case you don't want to bring it out of the Park later on."
Keiru had completely changed: instead of being stiff, emotionless and formal, he was happy, outgoing and pleasant to be around. I grinned, happy that he was happy. The battle had been wonderful, a truly excellent performance from both Pokemon.
"So, you ready to continue then?" Keiru asked, grinning. "I'm eager to see the sights, meet the Pokemon, enjoy the scene."
"Certainly," I said, and I led Keiru down the hallway. We took a left into a sub-hallway that was much thinner than the main one. This hallway was slightly darker, as some of the lights weren't in working order and the ceiling was slowly slanting down. There was more derelict machinery here than in the main hallway - the Rangers had at least tried to clean up the main hallway, only leaving things that were too heavy or dangerous to move.
I heard a small squeak at ground level. I looked for the source and I saw a small Minun bouncing on a partly broken reclining chair. It squeaked happily at the top of each bounce.
"Want to try catching it?" I asked Keiru.

Re: -|Individual RP: Caioo|-
Keiru followed Chainy down the hall, coming to a much thinner hall, the light more dimmed than the other hall. He heard a small squeak, and his eyes found the source, a small Minun leaping up and down on a broken chair, squeaking with enjoyment at the peak of every jump. Keiru smiled, watching the little Pokemon enjoy itself.
"Want to try catching it?" Chainy asked Keiru.
Keiru turned to look at Keiru, a grin on Keiru's face, the same gleam that had been in his eye in the last battle again present in his features, his smile didn't even falter, as he glanced back at the Minun.
"I certainly do." Keiru laughed, grabbing the currently unused Pokeball on his belt, and threw it calmly into the air in front of him.
A large yellow furred Pokemon formed in front of Keiru, black markings all over its fur, like tribal skin paint. Two large, magnet like objects protruded from the Electivire's back, rising up to just above the Electivire's shoulders. Protruding from its head were two small antennae, yellow in colour like the majority of its body.
"Vire!" Electivire bellowed, though its bellow was not one of causing fear, more a calm bellow, one that would not strike fear into Pokemon.
"Hey there buddy." Keiru grinned.
Keiru stared at Electivire, admiration in his eyes as he gazed at the large electric Pokemon, proud to have such a powerful and blazing Pokemon within his team. Keiru would of chosen Fury for the battle against the Minun, however, since Fury had just had an intense battle with a Magneton, Keiru had decided to let Fury rest, since it had worked hard, and had done its best against the magnet Pokemon. Keiru let out a small sigh, taking the same stance he had done when the battle against the Magneton had started, and studied the Minun thoroughly, watching its action, before nodding, and looking at Electivire.
The small electric mouse was definitely a cute Pokemon, the way it was enjoying itself by bouncing up and down on a broken chair was just adorable. Keiru thought hard for several moments, and nodded to himself.
"Electivire, use Quick Attack and get in before Minun can react!" Keiru requested, the gleam present in his eyes. "And after that provide a defensive barrier over yourself with Light Screen!"

"I certainly do," Keiru grinned, laughing at the prospect of another battle so soon. He threw a Poke Ball into the air which released Mr Yellow, his Electivire. The large yellow beast was an impressive sight, even more so because he barely fit into the corridor.
The Electivire greeted his Trainer with a calm bellow.
"Hey there buddy," Keiru replied with a smile. He then studied the bouncing Minun before issuing his command: "Electivire, use Quick Attack and get in before Minun can react, and after that provide a defensive barrier over yourself with Light Screen!"
Mr Yellow blurred away towards the Minun, moving faster than any creature that size had business doing. It punched the Minun viciously, and since the little yellow mouse-like creature was in mid-bounce at the time it flew through the air, striking a wall and falling to the ground. The Electivire the professionally took a step backwards and placed both its hands in front of it, creating a blue pane of energy that floated in front of it.
The Minun looked up at its attacker, and got to its feet. As it did so, tears appeared in its eyes, and it began crying. Mr Yellow took an unconcious step forward to comfort the little creature, but then its training reasserted itself and it stood at rest, waiting for its next command.

Keiru smiled as Electivire managed to pull off the Quick Attack and Light Screen undamaged, but Keiru frowned when Electivire nearly went to comfort the Minun that was crying. It was using Fake Tears in an attempt to gain sympathy, and Keiru was annoyed by this. Keiru's face remained smiling as he studied the small electric mouse, pondering his next move. Keiru's eyes widened as he spotted something down the hallway, a small shimmer of a shape dashing round a corner. Keiru looked back at the Minun, and then at Chainy.
"I shouldn't of ruined the little guy's fun..." Keiru sighed. "I mean, the Minun is an awesome Pokemon, but I had been so caught up in the moment of catching the Magneton that I leapt at the chance to catch another Pokemon. Would it be possible that we try and escape, maybe with something that would distract the Minun?"
Keiru looked back at the Minun apologetically, a long sigh escaping him, before he turned to look back at Chainy, a weak smile offered to the Ranger, before lightening up slightly, his smile growing a bit larger.

Keiru looked over at me with a slightly guilty expression as the Minun bawled its eyes out. I knew for a fact that Mr Yellow's guard would be down now, so the Minun could (and probably would) hit for extra damage. But apparently Keiru had had a change of heart.
"Yeah, we can try and leave," I said. I motioned to Keiru to return Mr Yellow to return to his Poke Ball. He did so, and we continued down the corridor past the Minun. After we had walked a fair distance I shot a look backwards and saw that the Minun was bouncing happily on the furniture again. There was no trace of tears anyway. I shook my head. It was a cheeky little Pokemon, to be sure.
Keiru seemed somewhat twitchy, and I knew why. There was a Pokemon watching us, darting out of sight whenever we tried to look at it. It had been following us since the battle with the Magneton, but Keiru had only seen it recently. I put my finger up to my lips, and we moved forward as quietly as we could, hoping to surprise it. We turned the corner.
And surprised it.
A Porygon-Z was hovering in midair, making the jerky head-and-arm movements that were one of its trademarks. It trilled a frightened sound and flew through the air backwards, putting some distance between us. Once it was clear that we didn't mean any harm to it, it then made a pugnacious sound, apparently angry with us for surprising it.
"Want to try battling it?" I asked Keiru.

Keiru stared longingly at the Porygon-Z, and struggled to restrain himself from proclaiming that he would battle it when he remembered he didn't have the necessary type of ball to capture the Porygon-Z and sighed softly, patting himself down and shook his head, looking at Chainy.
"I would if I had Hyperballs." Keiru sighed. "Sadly, I did not expect to encounter such a wondrous Pokemon as Porygon-Z."
Keiru glanced for a moment at the Porygon-Z, wishing he had remembered to buy some damn Hyperballs, and looked at Chainy.
"So, if you wouldn't mind we could try and escape?" Keiru requested. "And if we don't succeed in passing it, then I'll happily buy a Pokedoll to distract it."
Keiru glanced once again at the Porygon-Z, sadness strewn across Keiru's face as he stared at the Porygon-Z. He had always wanted one, and he was handed one on a blooming silver platter and he had no Hyperballs. Keiru hated the Gods right now.

Keiru looked like he really wanted to battle it. He started looking himself over and patting himself anxiously. I knew his problem. He hadn't brought any Hyper Balls. That meant he couldn't attempt to catch any Pokemon that had already evolved twice. This was a costly mistake - Porygon-Z were incredibly rare, and even if he didn't want it (which he obviously did) he could trade it for something amazing. It wasn't particularly uncommon for Porygon-Z to be exchanged for Legendaries.
Finally, Keiru sighed. "I would if I had Hyperballs," Keiru said wistfully. "Sadly, I did not expect to encounter such a wondrous Pokemon as Porygon-Z. So, if you wouldn't mind we could try and escape? If we don't succeed in passing it, then I'll happily buy a Poke Doll to distract it."
"Yeah, sure, but let's just try getting past it first," I replied.
We carefully moved around it, never presenting our backs. The Porygon-Z watched us carefully, never moving except for rotating to watch us and its occasional spasms. After we had moved past it, it darted down into a side room. I breathed a sigh of relief. Those beasts could get really nasty if you were unlucky - I might have even had a problem fighting it off.
We continued down the corridor, which was steadily getting darker. We were venturing into the part of the plant where there was no power. It would have been good if one of Keiru's Pokemon was carrying Flash, but his flashlight would have to do. As for me, I had night-vision with anti-flare countermeasures in my lens. I'd be fine. And if we needed to Flash in an emergency my Gallade would have it covered.
As we moved on, I noticed a Pichu sleeping in a little nest it had made out of wires, wood, and a fluffy pillow. The little yellow mouse's ribcage moved slowly up and down as it slept. I didn't particularly want to disturb it, but Ranger rules were Ranger rules. I pointed it out to Keiru.
"Want to catch it?" I asked him.

Keiru had pulled the flashlight off of his belt as they had progressed, and had turned it on. The light gleamed down the hall, and Keiru shone the light on the Pichu, snapping the light away from it as it shifted in its sleep.
"Want to catch it?" Chainy asked Keiru.
Keiru turned to look at Chainy, then looked back at the sleeping silhouette of the Pichu, its small breaths numbing Keiru's emotions, a feel of admiration coursing through him. Keiru really wanted a Pichu, due to its evolution, Pikachu, plus Pichu was really cute, however, Keiru remembered his brother was attempting to capture a Pichu, which he was doing for Keiru, and he didn't want to catch a Pichu and then his brother handed him a Pichu. Also, the Pichu just looked so cute whilst it was sleeping, and Keiru didn't want to disturb it.
"I think we should let the little guy sleep." Keiru replied, smiling at Chainy. "It'd be mean to wake him up."

Keiru watched the sleeping Pichu with a gentle smile on his face. I could understand how he felt. Pichu were adorable, even if I wasn't particularly a huge fan of them. They were popular as pets, even more so than as battlers. Which was probably a good thing, I reflected. Raichu didn't have amazing stats.
"I think we should let the little guy sleep." Keiru replied, still smiling gently. "It'd be mean to wake him up."
"Fair enough, he does look like he needs the rest," I said. We moved on past the Pichu, leaving it undisturbed.
The corridor led on out to a loading bay of some sort. It was completely indoors, but there were roller shutters that would allow access to the outside if they were open. Unfortunately, they were only extended about a half a metre above the ground, and no one had ever managed to find the controls to the shutter doors. A big purple blob was in the corner, eating out of an overturned trash can. The only way I could recognize it was by the jagged black gash around its waist.
"Want to try and catch that Swalot?" I asked Keiru.

Keiru followed Chainy, stopping when he heard a rummaging sound, and spotted a Swalot digging through a trash can. A Swalot was a very strong Poison type Pokemon, though it was a bit on the slow-ish side. In truth, Keiru didn't like Poison types that much, though the Swalot was tempting. The Swalot continued to rummage through the rubbish as Keiru watched it, slightly disgusted at how freely it just searched through the rubbish.
"Well, I don't really like Poison types." Keiru explained. "Let's continue?"
Keiru studied the Swalot for several moments, watching it rummage through the trash, a slight smile tugging at Keiru's features. Keiru let out a sigh, before nodding to himself, and turned once more to look at Chainy.
"Yeah, I think we should continue." Keiru spoke up.
