I think we have a serious shortage of refs right now. Every battle I have takes like 3 days to get its first judgement.

I'd also like to become a ref, and I have no idea where to go to become one. So, can anyone help?

Read this. All information is pertinent (save the moves section, for your purposes). Ref Quiz and "becoming a ref" information is at the bottom. Next time you're on AIM, talk to me (ojajrrj), Fierce Deity (neoslayer93), or SiberianTiger (TigerintheArk), or Stinky (Stinky) about reffing practices and tutoring.

As to the speed... Doesn't matter how many refs we have; even at the height of URPG Referee activity, forum battles take time. That said, we definitely need more referees.

I think we should sticky this one. So everyone can find out that they can take the test.

Alright, as long as we get one of these out there.

But let me tell all of you! I took some training and am about to take the second stage- Test.. and Reffing is not easy, remember you've gotta be fast, know stuff and there is a LOT to know.

Just so you know, 3-7 days can be quite a frequent wait. It's not that we have a shortage of refs - it's just that the ones that we do have aren't able to cover every timezone. Also, with school now coming back to some countries who were just in holidays, reffing activity will most likely slow down a bit.

If anyone has a question on reffing, they can always ask me.

Yah there are some classes up two, so if you wanna be a ref, attend those. Although, in my personal opinion, there arwe plenty of refs. The only problem is that some of them they all have actuall lives and can't ref 24/7
