No, the pay for judges will remain the same. Refs don't get extra money for doubles and the same applies here for now. If we need to it can be changed later on but for now it is fine.

For now on the meter both will have to use a move for it to lower, if this doesn't work out then we can change the meter. This is why we're having this test period, to see how things function and if need be to change them.

For the combos, for now those are the ones you can use. Later more will be edited in and we might include some from the RSE combos; but the idea is for the two Pokemon to work in concert like in the anime. Jesse is right about the turn order and combos can be done in any order, you can use Discharge then whirlpool because technically like in the anime your Pokemon would be moving simultaneously. For stars Jesse is right again, each Pokemon has her or her own chance.

For moves like Dragon Rage it will be slightly modified. The first two spots = 1, third and fourth = 2 and so on and forth. If you have questions about things like these post them here and I'll create a FAQ.

Anybody can do a beta contest, you need not sign up and there is no limit. The more people who join the more contests we can have to test this out.

refs don't get payed extra for double battles but they get paid based on the number of mons so there is no work increase.

here you are proposing doubling the amount of mons without increasing the pay

Dragonite was in the lead for the first rounds then it stalled and allowed the other to catch up to become a close contest.

Notes: Complicated Crowd Meter, took until the fifth round to reach max of 5 and only fell once.

Contestant feedback: Crowd meter is too complicated. Add more combos RSE included. Long (my fault here as I was slow the first three rounds).

I have a question, in a doubles contest, if you win do both pokemon get the ribbon like earning two at once?

Since we don't give ribbons to trainers like they do in the Anime then yes both Pokemon get the ribbon.
