He is highly rule-abiding, as well; when he feels that something has disrupted a rule, whether it be the natural order of things or a set-in-stone National Park regulation, he is usually the first to question that disruption. This also adds to a natural sense of curiosity; the major draw of the Park itself for him, besides the Pokémon, was the folklore surrounding it.
When in battle, he is more assertive, determined, and capable of thinking on his feet. He will quickly but carefully respond to the changing conditions of his opponents, and will try his hardest to work with the strengths of his partners' Natures.

Ron is fair-skinned, with light brown hair drawn in a cowlick down the middle of his scalp. He wears square-rimmed glasses to help with his dark blue, nearsighted eyes. The glasses are transistors, so they darken to block ultraviolet rays in the presence of direct sunlight.
In warm climates, Ron's typical outfit is a white linen collared button-down tee-shirt and dark tan cargo shorts, with ankle socks and low-cut boots for hiking, or barefoot and strapped-on sandals for beach-like climates. When it gets cooler, he'll don a gray-and-white windbreaker and heavy-duty work jeans, along with crew socks and similarly-cut boots. In the snow, he covers up with a heavier, insulated jacket, along with a warm hat and scarf, and pair of wind-resistant gloves. When hiking in these climates, he brings along high-cut snow boots and thermal snow pants.

Personality: Coming from a very privileged background River spent most of his life within Castelia City but he had always felt he wanted to experience the natural wonders the world had to offer and so on his 19th birthday he set off on a journey with his Petilil, however, as a city boy he's still trying to get used to the challenges the wilderness can throw at him. River is a very outgoing, lively and confident character, sometimes his confidence comes across as arrogance - but he's trying to work on that! Even though he might not seem it at first River's also very affectionate and caring to both humans and pokemon alike but can have a fiery temper when things aren't going his way or when he comes across someone who just doesn't get him.

Personality: Eric comes from a well off family, and when in groups, he is often the smart one. He doesn't mean to but tends to be cold and calculating when interacting with people he's not close to. This leads to him having few, if any, friends. His social skills are just shy of terrible, causing him to blunder and have awkward moments more often than he'd like. Once you get to know him better, you'll realize that he's very thoughtful and will stick by you no matter what. If only he were more socially adept, he'd have tons of friends. He also likes taking up challenges just for the heck of it. He's come to the island in search of challenges that await.

Description: Eric is around 5 feet and 8 inches tall. Although he rarely combs his short black hair, it usually looks acceptable. Although they often appear to be black due to the lack of lighting, his eyes are a dark brown. He has tan skin and is of an average built. He often wears a dark green unbuttoned polo over a white shirt and a pair of cargo pants. A silver pendant dangles from his neck at all times, and his pokeballs hang from his belt. He often carries a small knapsack with a set of extra clothes and a dark blue jacket in case of cold weather. He prefers to wear sneakers as long as the weather permits him doing so.

Name: Jakk Carter
Age: 24
Gender: Male

Personality: Jakk Carter is the eldest brother in a family of three boys. His younger brother is Elite Ranger James Carter, and the youngest is long-time Park-goer Jathan Carter. Jakk is usually seen as the star of the family - he's the Veilstone City Gym Leader, and he's defended it many times with honour. In fact, he has the best record of any Fighting-type Gym Leader recorded in the history of the Pokemon League.

Jakk himself is loud, opinionated, and good with women. He loves it when times are good, and refuses to admit when times are bad. People are naturally drawn to his optimism, and he's always telling jokes and getting drunk at parties. Despite being the oldest brother of three and arguably the most successful, he doesn't consider himself better than them in any way, although he'll sure joke around about it. Jakk shows affection through insults and friendly jostling - to him, nothing seals a bond between guys better than a tussle in the grass.

Jakk is very close to all of his Pokemon, which is impressive considering that much of his roster consists of traded Pokemon and not ones he caught himself. He doesn't value any Pokemon more than the other, and sees them all as valued friends. In fact, he usually sees them as "one of the guys" - it's not uncommon to see him arm-wrestling with his Infernape, racing down the streets with his Lucario, and attempting to drink his Hariyama under the table.

Description: Jakk had blue eyes and spiky blonde hair. As befits a Fighting Gym Leader, he is very muscly, although not so much as to be painful to look at. To accentuate his muscles, he wears a white sleeveless top with an open bottom so that he can easily show off his six-pack while flirting. His pants are loose-fitting black exercise pants with more pockets than usual, which is where he stores his Pokemon. He wears a pair of ratty old black sneakers that look like they should have fallen off years ago but are being held together by pure force of will.

When Jakk absolutely needs to, he wears a black backpack over one shoulder, but hates doing so. Likewise, he has a red jumper that he uses to ward off the cold, but he needs to be coerced into wearing it because it covers up his muscles. Usually when someone tells him to put his jumper on, he'll grin and tie it around his waist.
