I was thinking that at first but a few thoughts came to my head:
1. Graders can only claim one story at a time, so why would they need to look at the list again?
2. If Writers are worried that a story is taking so long to grade, they can message the Grader specific to their story.
3. It will help show which Graders are more active, which might help writers in requests for grades.

But ultimately I decided to leave it out, for now.

On another note for the list, anyone have ideas about the successful list? Right now, I'm trying to put every single capture on it, but it might just be fine to have one of each, the one that had the most "intense" grade to show others what to strive for.

Ok, that makes sense :)

And I have some different stories you can use for Hard and Merciless captures.

I'd honestly skip the successful list; it's going to be a lot of work, and I'm not sure how much benefit there would be. If I were looking through stories, I'd want to look at them all, whether they were successful or not; that way, we could also see what doesn't work, or isn't a good idea.

I didn't want to draw unwanted attention towards the writers who didn't have a successful capture. Since they wouldn't be on the list, others wouldn't have to know unless they looked through the pages and saw the unsuccessful stories.

As for the successful list, all the information prior to the list thread has been stored on a spreadsheet I have; it's just a matter of actually putting it into forum form.

I've got an idea - I have some story ideas that I can't do a whole lot with; I imagine some others have the same problem, but want some ideas. How about we have an idea pool? If we've got an idea that we don't think we could do justice, or aren't going to write because the Pokemon isn't of interest to us, we post them in here for other people to borrow?

That sounds a lot like the Library. So either this new 'list' or the library would become extremely unessesary and since we alreayd have the library I'd hold back on this idea and get those really great stories with 'intense grades' edited really nicely and then submit it to George.

You could just talk to people over AIM and do a collabrotive story where the both of you type the story for two mon and one receives one and the other receives the other (/obvious). I'd post here if someone wanted to do a collabrotive story then talk via PM or AIM. :]

How would it generally be accepted if I made a series of stories similar to different children's stories. The entire content would be my own creation, but it wouldn't be the most advanced literature. I just have an easy time coming up with stories more like that. I wouldn't go past Hard with a story like that, but how far would I be able to go with it? Any ideas?

Just letting Soro know that someone graded chapter one of The Guardian of Voyagers, so he can take that off the list now. Also, Faith is ready for a regrade.

I think that's okay, as long as the character requirement is good, the actual story isn't copy pasted from another story but edited with Pokemon in it, and if you were to go for a hard story, maybe make a twist int he actual plot to make it more origonal, the plot more exciting, and other crapiddy crap. :]

Thanks for the advice, I will be sure to think about that when I make subsequent chapters. My first chapter is for a Burmy so I think I should do fine with what I already came up with. Who knows I could expand on it greatly and build my way up to super difficult captures.

LOLOL, yea for Burmy? I wouldn't worry too much, I'd take that advice if you were going for medium or higher :]

Definitely will do. I plan on making subsequent chapters that are other stories in my story's story book.

EDIT: I used 3 variations of story in one cohesive sentence 0.0

I'm sad guys. I was taking the Grader Test and when I was done writing up a grade for the first story the browser decided to reload the page, making me have wasted the last ages. :(

I really like the idea of a pool to add unwanted ideas etc.
