I don't know. I like bears. I mean, not the whole mauling, claw-your-face-off-for-a-picnic-basket part, but bears are cool.

Most of the newbies avoid stories that long. I actually have my eye on it... I'm attempting to beat Neighborhood's grader wages record ('cause he stole my old one) next grading period. That involves ten or so Extensive-level grades, which need 50k+ level stories. SO.

However, I have an awesome plot for a tropius/girafarig story. 40k minimum (yikes I've never done anything THAT big before :'o ) and you can grade that nemo... but first dunsparce/buneary want to get graded :]

EDIT: Oh yea and I just finsihed my Yanma/Yanma story last night :]
I mean, I've seen storyies written, and then graded. Then I see them rewritten after other stories, and then they are regraded way before others are. For example, say I write a story in May. It gets a bad grade, and I rewrite it in June, and it then is graded, while stories in May are still waiting. I don't really see how that is fair.
Good point. At least for me, a regrade is quicker than a grade, since I already know the story from before. But i guess if it was a major plot change or something it wouldn't be fair, but if it was something like paragraphing and grammar, i can see a quick re-grade.
Though, its somewhat like a person who posted a incomplete story on May 25th, but then finished it June 16th, so i see the concern.
But then, regrades can only be done by a specific grader, while ungraded grades can be picked up by anyone.
Another grader could give a regrade to a story if the origonal grader has dissapeared, or something.
Also a regrade is an informal grade that usually is about as long as this post (unless the grader still sees some problems and contiues to fial the story then it's probably longer), it's quick and easy and a grader can do it in about 5-10 minutes.
