my story (A bridge just far enough. (Ready for grading)) has been out there for about 11 days now. I know other stories have been out longer, so I don't mean to be impatient or anything. It's a Magikarp story, so it's not very long.

Left Behind: Final Part
I was wondering if I could recieve a grade for Part 4 sometime soon please. I thought I had posted a comment several days ago, but it seems that I didn't :P
Hey guys, just wondering how everyone else goes about writing their stories (more for the sake of idle curiosity than anything major)?
Do you plan them out first, or just have a vague idea of where you're going and let the story take you there. If you plan it out, to what extent do you plan?
Guess I'll go first, I tend to plan my stories out, picking out key events that I want to occur, vaguely planning the flow of a battle.
My newly revamped URPG Stats
Looking for a battle? My AIM is DrStubbsberg. I'm also a ref, so I've got you covered either way.

Depends on the story. I usually put the first thought into the characters, then puzzle through how their beliefs and actions would, realistically, lead through the story. Then, I figure out what elements I need to introduce to get stuff to vaguely follow a direction that appeals to me. By that time, I usually have horrid plot holes. So I fill those in. AND THEN I START WRITING. And usually end up redoing the same process six times, to keep everything in continuity.
'n then there are the pieces I have a vague plot, theme, and character idea for. I just sit down 'n write 'em out. They usually turn out like crap, so I do what I can and move on. XD

Running Through Daisies
kers x alaska x zak x derian x scourge x ireign
Well i tend to think up the basic plot of the story (this often just pops into my head during the day) and i write only like a few K characters at a time, so i can think about developing the story.
